Event Overview
The 2nd Annual Apex- Halloween Hustle 5k and Minion Mile is back with your favorite route for the spooky season! More decorations, options to add on extra event gear during your sign-up, festive Halloween music, costume contest, fog machines, free cotton candy and popcorn, and more!
Who
- Participants: ALL runners, step counters, and Halloween enthusiasts!
- Fitness Levels: Ranging from first-time 5k'ers to experienced athletes.
- Welcome: Everyone is encouraged to join the fun!
What
- Distance: 3.1 miles of fast changing scenery.
- Route: Starts from the City Rec Dept., through the woods, passing Castle Playground, and East Carrollton soccer fields.
- Turnaround: At the Log Cabin.
- Elevation: Total elevation of ~250 feet, suitable for both beginners and those seeking a challenge.
When
- Date: October 24, 2026.
- Minion's Mile: Kids 1 mile from 8:00-8:20am.
- Halloween Hustle 5k: Starts at 8:30am.
Where
- Location: 110 Lumpkin Dr., Carrollton, GA 30117 (City Rec. Dept.).
- Race Start: At the top of Lumpkin Dr. near the pavilion.
- Course: The race takes place entirely on the greenbelt.
- Crossing: Two roadways: from Castle Playground to the Log Cabin.
