Apex- Halloween Hustle 5k

Race Overview

The 2nd Annual Apex- Halloween Hustle 5k and Minion Mile is back with your favorite route for the spooky season! More decorations, options to add on extra event gear during your sign-up, festive Halloween music, costume contest, fog machines, free cotton candy and popcorn, and more!

WHO

• Participants: ALL runners, step counters, and Halloween enthusiasts!
• Fitness Levels: Fitness levels from first time 5k'ers to experienced athletes, you are all welcome!

WHAT

• Distance: 3.1 miles of fast changing scenery: starting from the City Rec Dept.
• Route: Through the woods, passing Castle Playground, racing past the East Carrollton soccer fields, and dashing to the turnaround at the Log Cabin.
• Elevation: Total elevation of ~250 feet. Perfect for beginners and enough hills to give you a challenge.
• Rest Areas: Many rest areas along the way include park benches and hydration tables.

WHEN

• Date: October 24, 2026
• Minion's Mile: (Kids 1 mile): 8:00-8:20am
• 5k Start: 8:30am

WHERE

• Location: 110 Lumpkin Dr. Carrollton, GA 30117 (City Rec. Dept.)
• Start Area: We will begin our race at the top of Lumpkin Dr. near the pavilion.
• Course: Immediately hopping onto the greenbelt where the entire race will be located, crossing two roadways: Castle Playground to log cabin.

WHY

• Fun: The most fun you will have participating in a 5k!
• Attractions: Decorations, best-dressed costume prizes, custom medals, candy, face paint, you name it!
• Experience: Our goal is to leave you with the best 5k experience!

• Categories: TOP 3- 5 Year Age Groups: 12 Groups/ Gender
• Divisions: Teenage division, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+
