Race Overview

1 in 8 women will develop breast cancer in their lifetime. But when caught in its earliest stages, the breast cancer survival rate drastically increases. Powerful in Pink 5K (PiP) is a race focused on bringing awareness and support to local breast cancer prevention efforts in West Georgia area.

• Proceeds: Support breast cancer prevention and help fund mammograms, providing awareness around early detection.

As PiP begins its efforts to combat this devastating disease, we need your help. Through your financial support, Powerful in Pink can assist individual women in their battle against breast cancer. Your contribution will be used to provide subsidies for early breast cancer detection and awareness in the West Georgia area. There are several options for support.

Registration and Important Dates

Register now to be guaranteed for a race shirt by 10/2/2025.

• Packet Pick-up: Hosted on 10/15.
• Race Day Information:
  • Parking: In BHS student parking area. Off of U.S. Route 78 you will turn onto Florida Avenue.
  • Packet Pick-up Opens: 7 AM
  • Race Starts: 8 AM
  • Awards Start: 9 AM
  • Vendors: Visit with vendors before, during, and after the event.

Awards

Race awards will be recognized for overall male, overall female, overall masters-male, overall masters-female, and then age groups for male and female in >9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+.
