Race Overview

1 in 8 women will develop breast cancer in their lifetime. But when caught in its earliest stages, the breast cancer survival rate drastically increases. Powerful in Pink 5K (PiP) is a race focused on bringing awareness and support to local breast cancer prevention efforts in West Georgia area.

Event Details

Saturday, October 17th, Be the Light Missions will host the Fourth Annual PiP event in downtown Bremen. Proceeds will go to support breast cancer prevention and help fund mammograms, providing awareness around early detection.

Community Support

As PiP begins its efforts to combat this devastating disease, we need your help. Through your financial support, Powerful in Pink can assist individual women in their battle against breast cancer. Your contribution will be used to provide subsidies for early breast cancer detection and awareness in the West Georgia area.

Race Day Schedule

• Packet Pick-Up: Will be hosted on 10/15.
• Parking: In BHS student parking area. Off of U.S. Route 78 you will turn onto Florida Avenue.
• Packet Pick-Up Opens: 7 AM
• Race Starts: 8 AM
• Awards Start: 9 AM
• Vendor Visits: Before, during, and after the event.

Awards

Race awards will be recognized for overall male, overall female, overall masters-male, overall masters-female, and then age groups for male and female in >9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+.
