Powerful in Pink

🎗️ Overview

1 in 8 women will develop breast cancer in their lifetime. But when caught in its earliest stages, the breast cancer survival rate drastically increases. Powerful in Pink 5K (PiP) is a race focused on bringing awareness and support to local breast cancer prevention efforts in the West Georgia area.

📅 Event Details

Saturday, October 19th, Be the Light Missions will host the inaugural PiP event in downtown Bremen. Proceeds will go to The Tanner Foundation's breast cancer and prevention work and other local nonprofits, helping fund diagnostic mammograms and providing awareness around early detection.

As PiP begins its efforts to combat this devastating disease, we need your help. Through your financial support, Powerful in Pink can assist individual women in their battle against breast cancer. Your contribution will be used to provide subsidies for early breast cancer detection and awareness in the West Georgia area. There are several options for support, such as sponsorship possibilities.

📍 Race Day Schedule

• Packet pick-up: will be hosted on 10/17 at Ladies Way Fitness in Bremen.
• Race Day, October 19th:
  • Parking: In BHS student parking area. Off of U.S. Route 78 you will turn onto Florida Avenue.
  • Packet Pick-up: opens at 7 AM.
  • Race Starts: at 8 AM.
  • Awards: start at 9 AM.
  • Vendors: Visit with vendors before, during, and after the event.

🏆 Awards

Race awards will be recognized for overall male, overall female, overall masters-male, overall masters-female, and then age groups for male and female in >9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+.
