Circles Douglas County 5K - March 14, 2026 - 8:00 am - Clinton Nature Preserve, Villa Rica, GA

• Location: 8720 Ephesus Church Road, Villa Rica, GA
• Event: 2nd annual 5K trail run around scenic Clinton Nature Preserve in Villa Rica, GA.
• Medals: To the top 3 in each age group (10 year increments).
• Welcome: Runners and walkers are both welcome.

New This Year

• Finish Line Music: Select the song to be played as you cross the finish. It must be family friendly and we cannot guarantee that it will be played, but we will try. Either way, it will be added to our Circles DC 5K Playlist on Spotify.
• Course Marking: Improved course marking.
• Course Marshalls: Throughout the course to help as needed.

Proceeds

Proceeds will go to Circles Douglas County which helps families in Douglas County become financially stable by matching them with middle- to high-income mentors who provide training in personal finance, employment, and communication skills.

Ways to Donate

• Participant: Just signing up is a contribution. Start with the “Sign Up” button.
• Participant + Donation: In the Sign Up process, you will see a “Donate” button where you can give above and beyond the registration fee.
• Phantom Runner: Perfect if you just want to stay in bed or cheer from the sidelines and still get a t-shirt. Select Phantom Runner during sign in.
• Donor: For those that want to give, but don’t need yet another t-shirt. Start with the “Donate” button.
• Sponsor: For anyone giving $100 or more, your name or company will be on the t-shirts. The highest tier of donations includes a one year ad on the Circles website and other benefits. Visit our Sponsorship page for more details.

• One Month Out: Feb 14, 2026 - Mar 6, 2026 = $40
• One Week Out: Mar 7, 2026 - Race Day (Mar 14, 2026) = $45

Course Details

• Course Type: The 5K course is a trail run that follows the same course as many of the cross-country events that are held there.
• 5K Race Course: 5K Race course
• Fun Run Course: 1 Mile Fun Run

Race Day Schedule

• 7:00 am: Registration and Check-in Opens (bib distribution and last minute sign-up).
• 7:30 am: Optional walk through of course.
• 8:00 am: 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run Starts.
• 9:00 am: Award Ceremony.
• Note: Same day sign-ups will be via your phone - no cash.

Weather Policy

The event will be rain or shine excluding thunderstorms.
