🏃‍♂️ Circles Douglas County 5K

Location: 8720 Ephesus Church Road, Villa Rica, GA
This is our 2nd annual 5K trail run around scenic Clinton Nature Preserve in Villa Rica, GA. Medals will be given to the top 3 in each age group (10 year increments). All finishers will get a race shirt along with snacks and drinks. Runners and walkers are both welcome. More race day details and other information is on our Race Website.

✨ New This Year

• Select your song: Choose the song to be played as you cross the finish. It must be family-friendly, and while we cannot guarantee it will be played, we will try and add it to our Circles DC 5K Playlist on Spotify.
• Improved course marking: We have enhanced the course marking for better navigation.
• Course marshals: There will be course marshals throughout the route to assist as needed.

💰 Fundraising Information

Proceeds will go to Circles Douglas County, which helps families in Douglas County become financially stable by matching them with middle- to high-income mentors who provide training in personal finance, employment, and communication skills. This is a fundraiser and there are multiple ways to donate:

• Participant: Just signing up is a contribution. Start with the “Sign Up” button.
• Participant + Donation: In the Sign Up process, you will see a “Donate” button where you can give above and beyond the registration fee.
• Phantom Runner: Perfect if you just want to stay in bed or cheer from the sidelines and still get a t-shirt. Select Phantom Runner during sign in.
• Donor: For those who want to give but don’t need yet another t-shirt. Start with the “Donate” button.
• Sponsor: For anyone giving $100 or more, your name or company will be on the t-shirts. Visit our Sponsorship page for more details.

• First Week of Registration: Mar 27, 2025 - Apr 4, 2025 = $5
• First Month of Registration: Apr 5, 2025 - Apr 27, 2025 = $10
• More Than Six Months Out: Apr 28, 2025 - Sep 12, 2025 = $20
• Three Months Out: Dec 13, 2025 - Feb 13, 2026 = $35
• One Month Out: Feb 14, 2026 - Mar 6, 2026 = $40
• One Week Out: Mar 7, 2026 - Race Day (Mar 14, 2026) = $45

🏞️ Course Information

The 5K course is a trail run that follows the same course as many of the cross-country events that are held there. View the 5K Race course and 1 Mile Fun Run.

⏰ Race Day Schedule

7:00 am: Registration and Check-in Opens (bib distribution and last minute sign-up)
7:30 am: Optional walk through of course
8:00 am: 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run Starts
9:00 am: Award Ceremony

The event will be rain or shine excluding thunderstorms.
