Circles Douglas County 5K

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

This is our 2nd annual 5K trail run around scenic Clinton Nature Preserve in Villa Rica, GA. Medals will be given to the top 3 in each age group (10 year increments). All finishers will get a race-shirt along with snacks and drinks. Runners and walkers are both welcome. It will be held on March 14, 2026 at 8:00 am. ✨ New This Year

• Song Selection: Select the song to be played as you cross the finish. It must be family friendly and we cannot guarantee that it will be played, but we will try. Either way, it will be added to our Circles DC 5K Playlist on Spotify.
• Improved Course Marking: Enhanced visibility throughout the course.
• Course Marshalls: Marshalls will be throughout the course to help as needed.

💖 Charity Overview

Proceeds will go to Circles Douglas County which helps families in Douglas County become financially stable by matching them with middle- to high-income mentors who provide training in personal finance, employment, and communication skills.

💰 Donation Options

This is a fundraiser and there are multiple ways to donate:

• Participant: Just signing up is a contribution. Start with the “Sign Up” button.
• Participant + Donation: In the Sign Up process, you will see a “Donate” button where you can give above and beyond the registration fee.
• Phantom Runner: Perfect if you just want to stay in bed or cheer from the sidelines and still get a tshirt. Select Phantom Runner during sign in.
• Donor: For those that want to give, but don’t need yet another tshirt. Start with the “Donate” button.
• Sponsor: For anyone giving $100 or more, your name or company will be on the tshirts. The highest tier of donations includes a one year ad on the Circles website and other benefits. Visit our Sponsorship page for more details.

• First Month of Registration: $10 (Apr 5, 2025 - Apr 27, 2025).

• Three Months Out: $35 (Dec 13, 2025 - Feb 13, 2026).
• One Month Out: $40 (Feb 14, 2026 - Mar 6, 2026).
• One Week Out: $45 (Mar 7, 2026 - Race Day (Mar 14, 2026)).

🏞️ Course Details

The 5K course is a trail run that follows the same course as many of the cross-country events that are held there.

🕗 Race Day Schedule

7:00 am - Registration and Check-in Opens (bib distribution and last minute sign-up)

7:30 am - Optional walk through of course

8:00 am - 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run Starts

9:00 am - Award Ceremony
