Mission 22 5K Run/1 K Walk and Kids Color Run

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

• Event: Mission 22 5K and 1K Walk at Shadow Pines Park in Penfield, NY.
• Course: Sanctioned by U.S.A.T.F. Course is grass and some paved paths on old golf course. Much of it follows cart paths.
• Date: Saturday, May 24th.
• Location: 600 Whalen Road, Penfield, NY.

🎖️ Support Our Veterans

• Purpose: Come support your veterans in memory of SFC Donaldson!
• Invite: Bring friends, family, and any veteran you know! You don't have to run!

🕖 Event Schedule

• 7:00 - 8:00: Registration and T-shirt Pickup.
• 8:10: Opening Ceremony with Monroe County Veterans Outreach Center, American Legion, Seneca Waterways Scouts, Canandaigua VA, and Penfield Fire Company.
• 8:22: Race and Walk Start with timing and finish results.
• 9:22: Color Run.

🏆 Awards Ceremony

• 10:00: Awards (Top 3 in each age category) Presented by SFC Donaldson's mother.
• Timing: Timing will be through Webscorer.
• Closing Ceremony: TAPS.

• Impact: We lose 22 veterans a day to suicide and 1 in 4 of their children to suicide.
• Support: Mission 22 provides support to veterans and their families when they need it most: right now.
• Programs: Through outreach and programs, Mission 22 promotes long-term wellness and sustainable growth.
