Medved's Merrier Games (FREE!)

Event Overview

Our special brand of seasonal nonsense returns with the Christmas-themed Merrier Games on Thursday, December 11, 2025!

We are excited to be back at the shop for our next running Holiday Scavenger Hunt, and our friends from Brooks will be joining in the fun!

Team Information

• Team Selection: Pick a team and theme from the sign-up list and corral your favorite people to do the same.
• Team Size: Each team name has 10 open spots available on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Check-in Time: Game day check-in will open at 5:30 PM.
• Start Time: The Games will start promptly at 6:15 PM.

Game Format

Teams of 5 -10: The most a team can have is ten participants, who will work together to complete challenges and acquire checkpoints within a set time limit of seventy-five minutes. Half scavenger hunt, half adventure race, extra nonsense, total fun!

The Team Captain will be required to have their cell phone on them at all times during the Games.

Game Rules

• Adventure Format: A choose your own adventure scavenger hunt, runners will earn points by visiting various locations and completing challenges.
• Materials Provided: You will receive the scavenger hunt list and area map at Merrier Games check-in on game day.
• Point Claims: To claim your points for each location/challenge, you must post a picture of your entire team at a designated location to the Medved Running &: Walking Outfitters Group Facebook page. Please make sure you are a member of this group prior to game day!
• Post Timing: Posts are eligible to earn you points between the designated race time. Any posts after this time will not count.
• Safety Guidelines: All participants are required to follow traffic, pedestrian, and social distancing guidelines at all times.
• Required Gear: Headlamps &: Reflective gear are required.

Bonus Points

• Toy Donation: Earn bonus points by bringing a new, unwrapped toy donation for The Pirate Toy Fund.
• Costume Participation: Earn bonus points by dressing up in a Christmas costume that matches your team's theme!
• Brooks Gear: Earn bonus points by wearing Brooks gear/shoes to the Games!
• Additional Opportunities: Additional bonus point opportunities will be announced, so please follow the Facebook Event page!
