24th Annual Bare Bones 5K & Fun Run at Overton Elementary School - Presented by Cathy Griffin, Century 21 Towne & Country with a complimentary cup of Landis Creamery ice cream for all participants brought to you by Lazy 5 Vets!

• Community Focus: The Salisbury Rowan Runners aim to provide a quality race experience while keeping entry fees down.

🏅 Course Details

• Fun Run: Half Mile Fun Run will be an out and back on the greenway.
• 5K Course: Starts at Overton and follows a detailed route through West Park Road, Hickory Drive, and the Greenway.
• Finish Line: The finish line is located beside the nearest pole on the breezeway at Overton.

👕 Participant Gifts

• T-Shirts: Dry Fit T-shirts will be provided to all runners and walkers.
• Ice Cream: Every participant will receive a free scoop of Landis Creamery ice cream.
• Ice Cream Purchase: Available for spectators: they may also purchase ice cream.
• Shoe Donation: Bring old running shoes or any type of shoes to donate to Rowan Helping Ministries.

🏆 Awards

• 5K Awards: Top 3 Overall Male & Female, plus top 3 in each age group.
• Age Groups: 10 & Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, & 70 & Over.
• Fun Run Awards: Top 3 Overall in the Fun Run.
• Special Mentions: Awards will be given for not just speed but participation and inclusivity.

📅 Race Day Information

• Registration: Race-Day Registration costs $35 for the 5K and $10 for the Fun Run.
• Check-In: 7:30 a.m. - 8:25 a.m. at Overton Elementary School.
• Race Director: Includes Wayne Crowder in absentia, with Tisha Corriher handling duties.
• Proceeds: All proceeds benefit Relay for Life and donated shoes go to Rowan Helping Ministries.

🕒 Timing and Scoring

Timing and scoring for the 5K will be provided by Salisbury Rowan Runners.
