Finish National Runners Month strong by joining us for the DICK’S House of Sport Memorial Miles 5K Run, a vibrant and exhilarating event proudly presented in partnership with Team RWB and the Rick Herrema Foundation.

• Audience: Whether you're an avid runner or looking to enjoy a day outdoors, this timed 5K trail run offers an exciting challenge for participants of all ages and skill levels.
• Short Distance: For those seeking a shorter distance, we also offer a fun 1 Mile option, perfect for families and younger runners.
• Scenery: Set against the backdrop of stunning nature trails, the course winds through picturesque scenery, allowing you to connect with the beauty of the great outdoors while competing for a great cause.
• Tribute: The event will begin with a tribute for our fallen service members, led by Team RWB and The Rick Herrema Foundation.

Every participant will receive a finisher medal, celebrating your achievement as you cross the finish line.

• Event Registration: If you register at the event, you will be asked to scan a QR code with your phone and register online.

The Rick Herrema Foundation / Rick's Place
The Rick Herrema Foundation (RHF) strengthens relationships and builds community for The Military Family through fun, quality activities.

• Activities: At present these activities include free time, play time, kids’ art and animal fun, camps, organized family activities, and volunteer days.
• Future Plans: Once we complete construction and clear the debris, we look to bring out horses on a regular basis for family fun and stress relief.
• Facility: Rick’s Place is a 50-acre interactive greenspace 5.5 miles from Ft. Bragg. We are open dawn-to-dusk and free for The Military Family and those who serve the Military Family.
• Foundation Goals: The foundation aims to enhance familial cohesion, reduce stress, elevate quality of life, and offers tailored programs and events free of charge to military families.
