The Run for the Light is a scenic run near coastal dunes and through the maritime forest on Bald Head Island, NC. Enjoy the sweeping views while running at dusk toward the light of The Old Baldy Lighthouse.

• Family Fun: Make your participation in this race an entire day trip your whole family can enjoy!
• Finisher Rewards: Participants receive a finisher medal, shirt, and swag bag (while supplies last).
• Beer Ticket: Participants over 21 years old also receive a beer ticket.

🚢HOW TO GET TO BALD HEAD ISLAND

To get to Bald Head Island, you must travel by ferry from Deep Point Marina in Southport, NC. Participants are required to secure their own ferry fare. Please book early, ferry availability will sell out.

• Ferry at Deep Point Marina: 1301 Ferry Rad SE, Southport, NC
• Arrival at Bald Head Island: Upon arrival to Bald Head Island, expect a five/ten minute walk to the race start line, or you can ride the Tram.
• Purchase Tickets: To Purchase Ferry & Tram Tickets, or for the Ferry Schedule, visit www.baldheadislandferry.com.
