Old Baldy Run for the Light

🏃‍♀️ WHAT

The Run for the Light is a scenic run near coastal dunes and through the maritime forest on Bald Head Island, NC. Enjoy the sweeping views while running at dusk toward the light of The Old Baldy Lighthouse.

• Family Fun: Make your participation in this race an entire day trip your whole family can enjoy!
• Finisher Medals: Participants receive a finisher medal, shirt and swag bag (while supplies last).
• Beer Ticket: Participants over 21 years old also receive a beer ticket.

🚢 HOW TO GET TO BALD HEAD ISLAND

To get to Bald Head Island, you must travel by ferry from Deep Point Marina in Southport, NC. Participants are required to secure their own ferry fare. Please book early, ferry availability will sell out.

• Ferry Location: 1301 Ferry Rad SE, Southport, NC
• Arrival: Upon arrival to Bald Head Island, expect a five/ten minute walk to the race start line, or you can ride the Tram.
• Ferry Tickets: For ticket purchasing and ferry schedule, visit www.baldheadislandferry.com.
