3rd Annual Chesterfield FALL Terrain 5K

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

This is our 3rd year hosting the Chesterfield FALL Terrain 5K. Our main objective for this event is to race for a good cause as well as providing a 5K run/walk that is fun and enjoyable for everyone! We've been donating to local charities in and around Chesterfield. For our 1st year we raised money to Briella's Friends Foundation and on our 2nd year to Strides 4 Gianluca.

🏫 New Divisions

This year we are adding High School and Middle School division for the 5K. Participants should be athletes of the Cross Country team. We are inviting local schools namely: Northern Burlington District, Bordentown, Allentown and Hamilton. This is to promote camaraderie and sportsmanship among neighboring towns around Chesterfield.

• Winning Schools: We will be giving monetary donation to the running department of the winning schools.
• Trophy: 1st place trophy to the winning schools.

🎗️ Charity Focus

Our charity this year is The Miracle League of Mercer County, most of the proceeds will be given to this nonprofit organization.

🔖 Packet Pickup / Registration Instructions

• Pricing: $20 early bird pricing April 1 to April 7: $25 April 8 to June 30: $30 July 1 to August 31: $35 September 1 to September 30: $40 October 1 to October 18: $45 October 19 race day.
• Discount: $5 off if you register 2 or more.
• Note: Online registration closes at the start of the race.

📍 Where and When

The race will take place Sunday October 19th, 2025 - 9:00 a.m. sharp.

All events start and finish at Fenton Lane Park, 16 Fenton Lane, Chesterfield, NJ 08515.

🗓️ Itinerary

Saturday

Packet pick up: 1-3 pm at Fenton Lane Park

Sunday

• 7:30 - 8:45 am: Check-in, Packet Pickup, and Race-Day Registration if available (prices increased) at Fenton Lane Park.
• 9:00 am: High School/Middle School division of Chesterfield 5K starts.
• 9:10 am: Chesterfield 5k Run/Walk starts.
• 9:45 am: Post race festivities (entertainment, local vendors).

There will be Fun/Dash run for kids 10 years old and under (free event, recommended to sign up).

🚗 Parking

There will be parking spots inside the park. Fenton Lane park will close for incoming cars at 8:30 am. Please arrive early and before 8:30 am if you want to park inside. There will be parking spaces in the neighborhood across Fenton Lane park. If you want to leave early after your race, it will be advisable to do parking outside Fenton Lane park. There will be no parking at Fenton Lane street but there will be parking inside the development and by the school.

No double-dipping or duplicate awards.

Chesterfield 5k Run/Walk Awards & Divisions

• Overall: Top 3 Male & Female Overall Individuals.
• Age Groups: Top 3 Male & Female Individuals in each age group (9 and under, 10-14, 15-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-59, 60 & Over).

High School/Middle School division of Chesterfield 5k Race Awards

• Overall: Top 3 Male & Female Overall Individuals in High School Division.
• Overall: Top 3 Male & Female Overall Individuals in Middle School Division.
• Winning Schools: Custom made medals will be given as well as 1st place trophy to the winning schools!

ℹ️ Additional Information

• Refreshments: Refreshments will be provided at the end of the race.
• Teams: Runners are encouraged to set up their own team. Each team is encouraged to personalize their running shirts.
• Post-Race Festivities: There will be Post-race festivities.
• Results: Results will be available on the website on race day.
• Race Scoring: Race scored by DQ Events.
• Event Rights: Event promoters have the right to alter or cancel events for any reason.
• Weather Policy: All races will be held rain or shine under guidance of local safety protocol.
• Refund Policy: Absolutely no refunds.
• Transfers: Transfers and Deferrals are only allowed through Runsignup as specified, no exceptions.
