• Classic 5 Mile Race: A traditional race for seasoned runners.
• Popular 5K Race: A favored distance for many participants.
• Special 5K Races: Featuring our Chamber Corporate Cup and Middle School Cup.
• Community Teams: Inspiring teams running in honor/memory of loved ones or local causes.

🕒 Starting Times and Locations

• 5 Mile Race: Starts at 8:30 a.m. Meet at the top of Columbus Blvd.
• 5K Races: Starts at 8:45 a.m. Meet at the top of Columbus Blvd.
• 2-Mile Health Walk: Starts at 8:30 a.m. Meet in front of the YMCA.
• Y CUP 1 Mile Race: Part of 5K Race. Meet at 8:15 at DePaolo Middle School.

All proceeds from the Apple Harvest Road Races will go to support individuals and families in our communities going through challenging times through financial aid and scholarships to various YMCA programs and services. You can count on the Y to be good stewards of funds received.

👕 T-Shirts

• Specially designed t-shirts: Given to the first 750 registrations for the 5 Mile Races, 5K Races, 2 Mile Walk, and Y Cup 1-Mile Run.
• First 250 Registrants: Will receive t-shirts for the Little Fritter Fun Runs.
• First 150 Registrants: Will receive t-shirts for the Color Fun Run.
• Note: T-shirts will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis.

🏃‍♂️ 5 Mile and 5K Race Sponsored by Six Point Wealth Advisors

Both races start at the same location at the top of Columbus Blvd in a festive atmosphere. Participants can look forward to an electric finish with tons of crowds including our cheer zone! StartLine Race Services will time our race ensuring instant results and access to finish line photos.

🏆 Y CUP 1-Mile Race for 4th and 5th Graders

4th and 5th grade children are encouraged to participate in the Y Cup 1-Mile Run starting at the 2.1 mile mark of the 5K course. There is no day of race registration for the Y CUP: registration will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 4th.

🏫 Middle School Cup 5K

6th, 7th, and 8th graders participate in the Middle School Cup 5K event starting at 8:45 a.m. Top 15 boys and girls will receive medals and have their points counted towards their schools for the Middle School Cup.

💼 The Chamber Corporate Cup 5K

This new feature encourages local businesses and agencies to participate as corporate teams in the 5K Road Race. The team with the lowest time average of three runners will win the prestigious Chamber Corporate Cup Trophy.

🚶‍♀️ 2 Mile Health Walk Sponsored by Hartford Healthcare

A flat 2 mile walk starting at the Y and moving to the Linear Trail. All ages are welcome, and proceeds will support chronic disease programs partnered with Hartford HealthCare.

🥳 Little Fritter Fun Runs Sponsored by Mt. Southington

A always fun event for children aged 2 through 7 years old. Races range from 50 yards to two laps around the Town Green, starting around 9:45 to 10:00 a.m.

🌈 Color Fun Run/Walk Sponsored by SoCCA

A colorful addition featuring a fun, action-packed 1 ½ mile run/walk. Participants will run through color stations and are encouraged to register early for a guaranteed t-shirt.

🏅 Community Teams are Back!

Multiple community teams including Team SMSAA, Team Tyler in honor/memory of Tyler Chamberland, and more raising funds for various causes.

🥤 Amazing Refreshments!

Thanks to generous sponsors, we provide the best post-race refreshments. You will probably want to go out for another run!

📦 Packet Pick-Up

• Location: Southington Community YMCA, 29 High Street, Southington.
• Dates: Friday, October 3rd from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.: Saturday, October 4th from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.: Sunday, October 5th from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.
• T-shirts: Given to first registrations in respective events on a first-come basis.
