Join us on Saturday, May 9 at Mantua Elementary School and get ready to run the Mantua Raccoon Run 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run.

❤️ Supporting a Cause
The Raccoon Run is an annual run, sponsored by Mantua's Kids Care Club, that raises money for Life With Cancer, an amazing INOVA Hospital program that helps to provide support to those living with cancer and their families.
- Purpose: Supports education, information, counseling, and other services free of charge.
- Kids Care Club: A PTA volunteer-run service club for children in grades K-6.
- Community Impact: Kids get to see their work in action by raising money for a good cause.
- Empowerment: Encouraging young people to develop a love of giving back.
🌹 Remembering Mrs. Romano
This run honors the memory of a beloved Mantua Elementary School teacher, Mrs. Roberta Romano, who lost her battle with cancer in December of 2001. For over 20 years, this run has been held to honor her memory.
💲 Registration Information
- 5k Fee: $40 through May 8: $45 on May 9 and race day.
- 1 Mile Fun Run Fee: $25 through race day.
- Registration: Online registration open through race morning at 8:00 am.
- Note: All registrations must be completed online.
👕 T-Shirt Guarantee
In order to guarantee a t-shirt, please register by April 26.
📦 Packet Pick Up
Race packets can be picked up at Mantua Elementary School, Main Entrance (#1), 9107 Horner Ct, Fairfax, VA 22031 on Friday, May 9 from 5-7 pm and on race morning starting at 7:00 am.
🏆 Awards
Overall Male & Female finishers and top 3 males & females in the following age groups will receive awards: 10 & Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 & Over. Prizes will be awarded and refreshments will be provided after both races.

Reminder: NO headphones or dogs will be permitted in the 5k. Mantua Elementary students are encouraged to include the name of their teacher.
