Race Overview
This second annual event is now the final leg of the ChesCo Winter Series (https://runsignup.com/Race/PA/Wayne/ChesCoRaceFest has information on the entire series).
Race Options
- Distance Choices: 1/2 Marathon, Full Marathon, 50K, or 4 Person Marathon Relay.
- Course Description: The park loop is a fairly flat 1.25 miles.
- Starting Location: Races start in the center of the park.
- Finish Line: Participants finish at the Tot Lot Pavilion.
Event Amenities
- Food & Drinks: We will have lots of great snacks, drinks, and pizza.
- Atmosphere: Expect a fun and festive atmosphere.
- Packet Pickup: Available race morning starting at 7:30am.
- Facilities: Indoor (heated) bathrooms available for changing clothes and accessing fluids/foods.
Spectator Information
- Spectator Friendly: Runners pass by the finish area after every 1.25 mile loop.
- Live Results: Results will be posted to the results link on RunSignup.
- Livestream: Watch on our YouTube channel http://www.youtube.com/@2lraceservices.
- Follow the Action: Family/friends can follow the action from near and far.
Additional Details
- Time Limit: There will be an 8 hour time limit for the event.
- Walker-Friendly: Very walker-friendly for the half and full marathon (not for the 50K).
- Leaderboard: Information on the full series including the leaderboard at https://runsignup.com/Series/chescoracefest.
- Scoring: Each event scored with points determined by the number of finishers: marathon has a 2X point multiplier, 50K has a 3X multiplier.
