Patriot Pacers - 5K Training Workshop

🏃🏅 For many people, the 5K (that’s 5,000 meters — or 3.1 miles if you like numbers!) is the first race they ever try. It’s your first race T-shirt, your first finish-line photo, and your first taste of the road-racing vibe. But even seasoned runners love a good 5K — they’re quick, they’re fun, and the training doesn’t require the same time commitment as a marathon. GA’s Patriot Pacers Adult Summer Camp running workshop is perfect whether you’re brand new to running or your sneakers have been collecting dust for a while. Pete Jennings, GA’s Boys Cross Country Coach and Assistant Athletic Director, will guide you through everything you need to get started. Whether you’re lacing up for the first time or adding to your collection of race medals, we know how much that shiny new personal best means — and we’re here to help you achieve it. Our Training Program We’ve got something for everyone — from total newbies to experienced runners. You set your goal, make the commitment, and we’ll help you crush it.
