ROCC The Journey 5K

🎉 Welcome to ROCC The Journey 5K

Welcome to the inaugural ROCC the Journey 5K, where the power of music, movement, and recovery come together for a day that's more than just a run. Whether you’re lacing up for your first 5K or coming to support someone you love, this event is about celebration, strength, and community - all while raising awareness for sobriety and recovery. This is an event where all proceeds are donated to The Recovery Outreach Community Center (The ROCC). The ROCC is a non-profit whose mission is to provide recovery support services to those in need by partnering and leveraging resources to strengthen individuals, preserve families, and build stronger communities through peer empowerment.

🏃‍♂️ Race Information

The race will begin on Joplin Street (behind) The ROCC located at 1402 S Main Joplin, MO at 7 AM on September 13th, 2025.

📦 Packet Pick-Up at The ROCC

• Friday: 11:00 AM to 4 PM - September 12th
• Saturday: 6:00 AM to 6:50 AM - September 13th

💵 Entry Fee

• Early Bird: $35 until August 1st, 2025 (includes free t-shirt if registered by August 28th, 2025)
• Regular Price: $40 after early bird

🏅 Finisher & Award Information

• Medals: All participants receive finisher medals
• Awards: Given to the top overall male and female finishers, plus first, second, and third in all age categories
• Costume: Best Rock n' Roll Costume
• Nomination: "Comeback Story" Recognition (nominate someone who you feel is a ROCKSTAR in Recovery)

Age Categories: 10 and under, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79
