2025 Winters Spooktacular Fun Run and Costume Contest

🎉 DOWNTOWN WINTERS HARVEST FESTIVAL

• Event Dates: The three day Downtown Winters Harvest Festival will be on October 24th, 25th, and ending on October 26th.
• Family Fun: The festival will include harvest-themed events that are fun for the whole family the entire weekend.
• Race Inclusion: The 2025 Winters Spooktacular Fun Run and Costume Contest is part of the Winters Harvest Festival.

👻 RACE EVENT DESCRIPTION

• Event Date: Grab your costume and running shoes and head out to the event on Sunday, October 26th.
• Family Thriller: This event is a thriller for the entire family. In addition to the 5K &: 10K, kids will scream with excitement on the 1 Mile Monster Dash.
• Costume Contest: We will have an individual costume contest, as well as a best group costume contest.
• Sponsor: This event is the 6th Annual Halloween Fun Run sponsored by the Winters Runners and Walkers Club.

⏰ ONLINE REGISTRATION CLOSING

• Cutoff Date: The cutoff date for Online Registration is 10/24/25 at 11:59 PM.

📦 REGISTRATION AND PACKET PICK-UP

• Late Registration: Late Registration and Packet Pick-up is on 10/25/25 in front of Berryessa Gap Vineyards Tasting Room from 10 AM to 4 PM.
• Race Day Registration: On 10/26/25 from 6:30 AM to 9:30 AM at Rotary Park, corner of Railroad St. and Main Street.

🕒 START TIMES

• 8:00 AM: Start 10K (3 Hour Limit)
• 8:10 AM: Start 5K (3 Hour Limit)
• 9:30 AM: 1 Mile Kids Monster Dash and 1 Mile Adult

🏅 REGISTERED PARTICIPANTS

• Finisher Medals: All Races Finishers receive custom medals. 5K and 10K finishers receive Chip Timing.
• 1 Mile Monster Dash: Finishers receive a custom medal, Tech Tee, and one free Hooby’s beverage (must be 21 years old for beer).
• Shirt Guarantee: All shirts guaranteed before 10/10/25.

⚠️ NOTE

• Traffic Regulations: The 5K &: 10K course is open to regular traffic: please observe all traffic laws.
• Course Limit: There is a 3-hour timed course limit for 5K and 10K.

🏆 AWARDS

• Place Awards: 5K &: 10K Male and Female 1st, 2nd, 3rd place winners.
• Costume Contest: Prizes for Individual and Best Group choices in 5K / 10K and the 1 Mile Monster Dash.

• 1 Mile Monster Dash: $20.00
• 5K: $30.00 (4/21 until 9/12), $35.00 (9/13 until 10/26), $40.00 on Race Day.
• 10K: $35.00 (4/21 until 9/12), $40.00 (9/13 until 10/26), $45.00 on Race Day.
