• Date: Saturday morning, July 12, 2025
• Time: 8:00 am
• Location: Haw Ridge Life Development Center on Old Edgemoor Drive near Oak Ridge TN

🏞️ COURSE DESCRIPTION

• Length: 8 miles
• Terrain: Some climbing early with good flow through Haw Ridge Park
• Scenery: A significant portion of the course runs along the lake
• Finish Line: Returns to the finish line at the starting point

👶 KIDS TRAIL RUN

• Distance: Almost exactly a mile
• Course: Almost all on trail
• Fun Factor: Way more than a mile's worth of fun!
• Previous Feedback: Runners from last year had a great experience

💲 RACE ENTRY FEES

• Preregistration: $25 (KTC discount valid)
• Students (14 and under): $15 anytime
• Kids Trail Mile: $7 anytime
• Late Registration: $30 (Online registration available at Runsignup.com)

• Awards: Top 3 in each division earn free race entries
• 1st Place: Full monty - all 12 races
• 2nd Place: 9 race series
• 3rd Place: Entry into 6 races, plus a drawing for shoes

📊 RESULTS

• Availability: Results will be available on Runsignup

🚧 COURSE ETIQUETTE

• Sportsmanship: Disqualification for unsportsmanlike conduct
• Prohibited Items: No headsets, bicycles, strollers, roller blades, or pets

🛡️ SAFETY

• Aid Station: One station halfway through the race
• Hydration: Limited supply of small cups - please bring your own container
• Medications: Bring your own if sensitive to insect stings
• Training: Do pre-race training off-road for best preparation

⚠️ SAFETY POLICY CLARIFICATION

• Age Requirement: Runners under 12 must be accompanied by an adult
• Pace Enforcement: 18:00/mile minimum pace to stay in the race
• Race Sweep: Each race will have a designated sweeper
• Accountability: Please inform officials if you drop out

❗ IMPORTANT BIB INFORMATION

• No Bib No Race: Do not take a bib if you're not running
• Finish Line Check: Keep the bib intact for time and finish place recording
