🏆 Race Description

• Event Series: This is the 1st Event of the 2026 Healthy Blount Triple Crown of Running.
• Next Events: 2nd Event - Scholars Run, July 25, 2026: 3rd Event - Reindeer Run, December 6, 2026.
• Eligibility: Participants in ALL THREE events are eligible for cash awards, door prizes, and a special memento.
• Prize Opportunity: You may still win great Triple Crown door prizes worth a minimum of $50 each if you participate in the Reindeer Run and at least one other event.

💖 Charity Support

• Beneficiaries: A portion of proceeds goes to Blount County's Special Olympics program and the Leon Berrong Scholarship Fund.
• Purpose: Helps underprivileged kids participate in recreational programs.

⏰ Race Day Information

• Check-In: 7:15 - 8:00 a.m. on race day.
• Race Time: 8:30 a.m. – 5K Run: 9:15 a.m. – 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk.
• Pre-Race Packet Pickup: Thursday, April 16, 5 to 7 pm at Dick's Sporting Goods, Alcoa, TN.

👕 T-Shirts

• All Runners: Quality 65/35 cotton/poly blend T-shirt.
• Availability: Shirts for day-of-race entries available as long as supplies last.
• Packet Pickup: Available at the Parks & Rec office for two weeks after the race.
• Sleeping But Supporting: Shirts available at the Parks & Rec office during this time frame.

🎖️ Awards & Prizes

• Awards: Given on-site: top three finishers in each age group.
• Fun Run/Walk: All participants will receive a ribbon.
• Door Prizes: Randomly drawn from a generated race list.
• Age Divisions: Categories for both males and females ranging from 8 and under to 75 and over.

⚠️ General Guidelines

• Restrictions: No baby strollers, bicycles, roller blades, or dogs during the race.
• Headsets: Not recommended due to traffic on race route.

🍎 Refreshments

• Availability: Refreshments will be provided on-site after the race for participants.
