Race Description

• Triple Crown Event: This is the 1st Event of the 2026 Healthy Blount Triple Crown of Running.
• Other Events: 2nd Event - Scholars Run, July 25, 2026: 3rd Event - Reindeer Run, December 6, 2026.
• Eligibility: Participants in ALL THREE events are eligible for cash awards, door prizes, and a special memento.
• Support: A portion of the race proceeds goes to Blount County's Special Olympics program and the Leon Berrong Scholarship Fund.

Race Day Details

• Check-in: 7:15 - 8:00 a.m. on the day of the race.
• Race Times: 8:30 a.m. – 5K Run: 9:15 a.m. – 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
• Pre Race Package Pickup: Thursday, April 16, 5 to 7 pm at Dick's Sporting Goods, Hamilton Crossing.
• T-Shirts: All runners will receive a quality, 65/35 cotton/poly blend T-shirt while supplies last.

Awards and Prizes

• On-site Awards: Given to the top three finishers in each age group.
• Fun Run/Walk: All participants will receive a ribbon.
• Door Prizes: Eligible for nice door prize drawings randomly drawn from a generated race list.
• Age Divisions: Categories for male and female participants of varying age groups.

General Information

• Prohibited Items: No baby strollers, bicycles, roller blades, or dogs allowed during the race.
• Headsets: Use of headsets is not recommended due to traffic on race route.

Refreshments

• Available: Refreshments will be on-site after the race for all participants.
