Race Description

• First Event: This is the 1st Event of the 2026 Healthy Blount Triple Crown of Running.
• Upcoming Events: 2nd Event - Scholars Run, July 25, 2026. 3rd Event - Reindeer Run, December 6, 2026.
• Awards Eligibility: Participants in ALL THREE events are eligible for cash awards, door prizes, and a special memento.
• Participation Options: Even if you cannot join all three events, you can still win door prizes by participating in at least one.

Charity Support

• Beneficiaries: A portion of the race proceeds supports Blount County's Special Olympics program.
• Scholarship Fund: Proceeds also benefit the Leon Berrong Scholarship Fund for underprivileged kids.

Event Schedule

• Check-In: 7:15 - 8:00 a.m. on race day.
• Race Times: 8:30 a.m. for 5K Run, 9:15 a.m. for 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk.

Pre-Race Package Pickup

• Location: Thursday, April 16, 5 to 7 pm at Dick's Sporting Goods, 221 Hamilton Crossing Drive, Alcoa, TN 37701.
• Race Day Pickup: Available on the day of the event.

T-Shirts

• Quality: All runners receive a 65/35 cotton/poly blend T-shirt.
• Availability: Shirts will be provided on race day for day-of registrations while supplies last.
• Packet Pickup: Those unable to collect packets can retrieve them at the Parks & Rec. office up to 2 weeks after the race.
• Additional Option: Participants choosing the Sleeping But Supporting option can pick up shirts at the Parks & Rec office during the same time frame.

Awards and Prizes

• Award Ceremony: On-site awards will be given to the top three finishers in each age group.
• Participation Reward: All Fun Run/Walk participants will receive a ribbon.
• Door Prizes: Race participants are eligible for door prize drawings, randomly drawn from the race list.
• Age Divisions: Awards are available for male and female participants across various age categories.

General Information

• Restrictions: No baby strollers, bicycles, roller blades, or dogs allowed during the race.
• Headset Use: Not recommended due to traffic on the race route.

Refreshments

• Post-Race: Refreshments will be available on-site after the race for participants.
