Jacobsburg 5k & 10k - The GNOMES are Back!!

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

The GNOMES are back! The Jacobsburg 5 & 10 Trail Race took a 6-year hiatus, but we’re excited to announce that we’re coming back with another, long overdue, edition of our trail race! Enjoy the scenic trails along the Bushkill and Sobers Run creeks that take you through forest groves and rocky single track. Open the throttle and cruise the open dirt pack trails.

🆕 What’s New?

• Course Change: The 5 and 10 mile courses have been changed to a 5k and 10k course.
• Second Lap: The 10k will be a second lap of the 5k course.
• Non-Binary Prize: We’re including a non-binary prize category.
• Top Dog Prize: Run with your dog: if your dog is the first to cross the finish line, they win a prize.

🔁 What’s the Same?

• Gnome Prize: Win a prize for finding a gnome along the course and carrying your gnome to the finish line!
• Top Finishers: Top 3 women and top 3 men win a prize.
• Age Group Prizes: Top age group finishers win prizes.
• Environmental Impact: As always, we’re trying to leave as little impact to the park and environment as possible while still having a fun day in the dirt!

🚗 Race Logistics

Please try to carpool to our race if possible. There will be two water stops along the course and one at the finish line. Food to refuel that tired body will be provided at the finish line. EMS services will be on site.
