Lope for Loons 6k Trail Run

🏃‍♂️ 6K Trail Run

• Start time: 9:00 AM
• Timing: Professionally timed
• Terrain: Trail terrain, dirt, sand, roots, tough climbs (ski hill)
• Registration Perk: Get a loon T-shirt with your registration fee. The design is done by the same artist as Charlevoix Running Company's logo (emily cooper creations).
• Prizes: Top finishers overall and masters level win a FREE pair of ALTRA trail shoes
• Post-Race Snacks: Loon cookies, bananas and snack at the finish
• Aid Station: One aid station near the lodge

🏃‍♀️ Fun Run

• Start time: 8:45 (right before 6k)
• Distance: Kids run 1000m or less from the playground to the finish line
• Shirts: Shirts for kids
• Timing: Running clock

💰 Who Will Benefit?

Money raised will go to the Little Traverse Conservancy to provide updated signage to help protect loons at boat launches around our area. Money will also go to support Mt. McSauba's outdoor education infrastructure.

📝 Registration

Packet pickup is at Charlevoix Running Company (327 Bridge st) Friday From 2-6pm. Or right before the race 8-8:45 AM outside Mt McSauba Ski Lodge.

• Location: Park in Mt. McSauba ski hill parking lot
• Facilities: Bathrooms available
