Spring Backyard Burn Trail Run - Pohick Bay

🌳 Race Overview

The Spring Backyard Burn (SBYB) is a series of 5 and 10 mile trail running races held on some of the best trail networks in the Northern Virginia Area. All the courses include a mixture of forested fire roads, twisty hiking trails, stream crossings, grassy fields, and minimal pavement.

• Scenic views: Situated on Gunston Cove and adjacent to Mason Neck National Wildlife Refuge and Gunston Hall, home of Founding Father George Mason.
• Trail Quality: The trails are excellent, offering amazing water views and common bald eagle sightings.
