3rd Annual MIDLAND CHEETAH’S Youth Track and Field Meet and 5K Fun Run

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

July 25-26 2025 - Memorial Stadium - Midland TX

• Friday: Tiny Tots 6 and Under - 6:00pm.
• Saturday: 5k Run for all ages - 7:15am.
• Track Meet: Begins for ages 7yrs and older at 8:00am.
• Location: Midland Memorial Stadium, Midland, TX.

TRACK MEET Open to kids ages 18 and under. $10 Entry Fee. Unlimited Events.

5K Fun Run Open to any Kids, Parents & Adults. $10 entry fee. Hosted by the Midland Cheetah’s Track Club. Sponsored by the Sons of the America Legion Post 19, Midland Athletic Company, & M&M Disposal.

📅 Age Divisions & Schedule of Events

Friday, July 25th - 5:00pm

• Tiny Tots: 6 and Under - Long Jump / Softball Throw / 50m dash / 100m dash / 4x100 relay.
• Check In: Begins at 4:00pm.
• Field Events: Begin at 5:00pm.

Saturday, July 26th - 7:00am

• 7 & 8 yrs: Long Jump / Shot Put / 100m / 200m / 400m / 800m / 1600m / 4x100 relay.
• 9 & 10 yrs: Long Jump / Shot Put / 100m / 200m / 400m / 800m / 1600m / 4x100 relay.
• 11 & 12 yrs: Long Jump / Shot Put / 80M Hurdles / 100m / 200m / 400m / 800m / 1600m / 4x100 relay.
• 13 - 18 yrs: Long Jump / Triple Jump / Shot Put / Discus / 100M Hurdles / 110M Hurdles / 300M Hurdles / 100m / 200m / 400m / 800m / 1600m / 4x100 relay.

⏰ Schedule of Events

• 6:30am: Check In will begin.
• 7:00am: 5K FUN RUN.
• 7:30am: Triple Jump.
• 8:00am: Long Jump & Shot Put will all begin. Discus will begin once Shot Put is completed.

🔔 Running Events

Running Events will begin once all Field Events are completed in the following order – Rolling Schedule:

• 4x100 Relay
• 800M
• 80M Hurdles / 100M Hurdles / 110 Hurdles
• 100M
• 400M
• 300m Hurdles
• 1600M
• 200M

📅 Important Dates

Athletes participate based on their age as of July 25, 2025.

Entry Deadline is Wednesday July 23rd at Midnight.
