Indian Trail 5K Run, Kids Mile, & Non-Competitive 5K Walk

Race Overview

The Indian Trail 5K Run, Kids Mile, & Non-Competitive 5K Walk is located on the grounds of Mississinewa High School in Gas City, IN. The 5K is a fundraiser for the Mississinewa Cross Country program which is made up of the high school team, middle school team, and the Indians Elementary running club. The course is a newly designed course that runs the perimeter of the athletic fields with multiple loops through the woods. This course is fun, fast, and challenging.

Event Schedule

• Registration: 8:20 - 9:20 am
• Kids Mile Run: 9:30 - 9:45 am
• 5K Race: 10:00 - 10:45 am
• Non-Competitive Walk: 10:00 - 10:45 am

Awards will follow shortly after.

Discounts

• Eligibility: Discounts available for military, first responders, Mississinewa cross country alumni, teachers, and current middle school or high school cross country or track athletes.

Kids Mile Awards

• Top 3 Girl Finishers: Awards for the top three girls in the Kids Mile (ages 3-10).
• Top 3 Boy Finishers: Awards for the top three boys in the Kids Mile (ages 3-10).

5K Run Awards

• Top 3 Male & Female Finishers: Awards in each age division.
• Overall Female and Male Runner Awards: Awarded to the overall fastest male and female runners.
• Age Divisions: 14 & Under, 15-19 yrs old, 20-29 yrs old, 30-39 yrs old, 40-49 yrs old, 50-59 yrs old, 60+.
• Special Awards: Awards will also be given to the youngest and oldest 5K run finishers.
