Musser Madness 3 hour 6 hour 12 hour endurance race

🏞️ Event Overview

We are relocating to Camp heart just down the road. We intend to use most of the same course as last year and add on couple miles to complete the loop. We are still finalizing the exact course but the loop should be around 5 to 6 .5 miles. Their will be plenty of room for people to spread out and set up there area. The start will be about 100 yards from the parking lot.

📍 Location and Setting

• Venue: Camp Delmont is a rustic Boy Scout camp located along the Unami Creek, offering a natural and preserved open space environment.
• Trail Description: The trails primarily consist of single-track technical trails with some double-track sections. Runners will encounter various natural elements such as tree roots, rocks, dirt, mud, and plenty of shade as they navigate through the course.
• Loop Distances: Loop distances are expected to be around 3 to 4 miles, depending on trail conditions.

🏔️ Terrain and Elevation

• Hills: The course includes hills, providing a challenge with approximately 576 feet of elevation gain per loop.
• Scenic Routes: This elevation change will add to the scenic and varied nature of the race.

🍽️ Aid Station and Refreshments

• Aid Station: There will be one aid station offering an assortment of carbohydrates, fruits, water, Gatorade, and soda.
• Hot Food: Additionally, hot food will be available to refuel participants during breaks.

🚗 Parking and Logistics

• Parking Distance: While parking may be about 1/4 mile away from the start/finish area, runners and crew members will have the convenience of bringing their cars closer to the loop start/finish for easier access.
• Overall Experience: Camp Delmont promises a well-rounded trail running experience with its natural beauty, challenging terrain, and thoughtful amenities for participants and their support crews.

⏰ Race Schedule

Last lap is 6pm. All runners must be off the course at 7 pm, no exceptions.
