🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

This race is an extension of the Caveman Open Cross Country Meet! This will take place on the Cave City Cross Country Course. The Official Junior High and Senior High Races will take place the following Tuesday, October 7th starting at 3pm.

👦 Race Details

Kids 1 Mile Fun Run: Begins at 4:00pm for ages 12 and under.
Community/Alumni 5k: Starts at 4:30pm for all ages.

🎓 Beneficiary

This race will support the Cave City High School Cross Country and Track and Field Teams. The teams will be hosting this year's Melon Dash 5K Run.

📍 Location

Course: Held on the Caveman Open Cross Country Course.
Parking: Available by the High School Gym: shuttle bus or walk back to the course.
Road Directions: Right by Dale's Garage.

💵 Entry Fees

5k Fee: $25: Race day $30.
Kids Fun Run Fee: $15: Race day $20.
Included: Race entry, T-shirt (for racers registered by September 15), Popsicle, Water, and Snacks!
Registration: Starts at 6:00 AM on race day: cash or check only for day-of registration.

👕 T-Shirts

All runners pre-registered by September 15 will receive a T-shirt. If not registered by that date, there is no guarantee of a shirt. Sizes available are Youth M and L and Adult S, M, L, XL, XXL. Older versions of T-Shirts will be sold for $5 at the race (not included with race entry fees).

🏅 Awards

Kids 1 Mile Fun Run: Top 3 Male and Top 3 Female Receive a Medal.
Community 5k/Alumni: Top 3 Male and Top 3 Female Receive a Medal.
Age Groups: Top 3 Male and Female Receive Medals in categories: 0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 and Above.
