🏃‍♂️ Arrowhead Obstacle Trail Run 2026

Arrowhead Obstacle Trail Run is a 5k (3.1 mile) event on the scenic trails of Arrowhead Park near Neola, Iowa featuring 15+ obstacles. There is also a 1 Mile Kid's Obstacle Trail Run with 10+ obstacles! All proceeds benefit the Pottawattamie County Trails Association. The event will be held on Saturday, September 19th, 2026 beginning at 10:30 AM with the 1 Mile Kids Run.

🧗‍♀️ Course Details

• Course type: 5k with optional obstacles.
• Obstacle count: 15+ in the 5k, 10+ in the 1 Mile Kids Run.
• Not a "mud run": No mud pits, no cold showers!
• Optional obstacles: All obstacles are optional except the hills in both runs.

👶 1 Mile Kid's Run

• Age recommendation: Suitable for ages 6-12 with adult chaperones encouraged.
• Registration: Required for all participants for insurance purposes.
• Parent participation: Adults wishing to run both events must sign up for the 5k.
• Volunteers: Will be present along the course to assist.

💵 Pricing Information

• 1 Mile cost: $10, $15 in September!
• 5K pricing: $30 in May and June, $35 in July and August, $40 in September.
• On-site registration: Day of event $40 for 5K and $15 for 1 Mile, CASH ONLY.
• Included: Entrance to the park, free parking, and free event photos.

👕 T-Shirt Orders

• Purchase price: Event T-shirt available for $10 during registration.
• Pre-order recommendation: Limited availability on the day of the run.
• Order deadline: Tuesday, September 9th.
• Commemoration: A T-shirt to celebrate conquering the course.
