🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

HEROES, Inc.®, a 501c3, supports the spouses and children of law enforcement officers and firefighters who gave their lives in the line of duty to the greater Washington, D.C. community. Our singular goal is to honor the supreme sacrifice made by these individuals by caring for their families. This support begins within 24 hours of the tragic loss and continues indefinitely.

📍 Course Details

• Location: The HEROES on the Run 5K will take place on the Hains Point 5K course located in Potomac Park, Washington, DC.
• Terrain: Known for its smooth, flat terrain, the course winds along the scenic waterfront, offering beautiful views of the Potomac River.
• Route: This out-and-back route takes participants down the length of Hains Point before turning around and heading back to the finish line.
• Family Registration: Families can register as a group for a discounted rate.

📅 Packet Pickup

HEROES on the Run 5K packet pickup will be available the morning of the race. All participants must pick up their packets prior to the race start between 7:15 a.m. and 8:00 am.

🚗 Race Day Parking

There is ample parking in East Potomac Park near the starting line on Ohio Dr.
