🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

• Event Name: Planet Fitness Wichita's OctoberFit 5K
• Purpose: A spooktacular event benefiting the local Boys and Girls Club of South Central Kansas.
• Support: Proceeds help raise money for the youth programs of BGCSCK.

📍 Location

• Address: 2101 W Sim Park Dr, Wichita, KS
• Directions: One mile west of the Wichita Art Museum along Museum Blvd/West Sim Park Dr at the workout park.
• Parking: Available at 2101 W. Sim Park Dr or the new Botanica parking lot just east of the start/finish line.
• Race Route: Along the bike path on the north side of the Arkansas River past Cowtown & Keeper of the Plains to Exploration Place and back.

📅 Date & Time

• Date: Saturday, October 25th, 2025
• Arrival Time: Racers can begin to show up at 7:30 am.
• Start Time: Race kicks off at 9:00 am.
• Costume Contest: From 8:00 am to 8:45 am.

🎭 Costume Contest

• Details: Come dressed in your spookiest attire for the Halloween contest.
• Participation: Open to individuals or couples only.
• Prize: The winning individual or couple will receive a $100 gift card.
• Deadline: Must go to the judging area by 8:45 a.m. Winners will be announced after the race.

🎟️ Raffle

• Raffle Item: The TV People entertainment package.
• Contents: Includes a 55" LG Smart TV, a Bose Sound Bar, and a Hue Light system.
• Tickets: Can be purchased online or on race day.
• Price: One for $5, or 4 for $15.

🎽 Race Amenities

• All Racers: Will receive an OctoberFit 5K race t-shirt.
• Awards: Participation medal and a bag with goodies for all participants.
• Packet Pickup: From Monday, October 20th, to Thursday, October 23rd, at Planet Fitness Normandie, 6592 E. Central Ave, Wichita, KS.
• Race Day Pickup: Any packet not picked up during the week must be retrieved on race day.
