🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Planet Fitness Wichita's OctoberFit 5K is a spooktacular event! The OctoberFit 5K race is PF's way to give back to the community of Wichita by partnering with the local Boys and Girls Club of South Central Kansas. Proceeds raised through our OctoberFit campaign will help raise money benefiting the youth of BGCSCK and the outstanding programs they provide! 📍 Start/Finish Location

• Address: 2101 W Sim Park Dr, Wichita.
• Nearby Landmarks: This is one mile west of the Wichita Art Museum along Museum Blvd/West Sim Park Dr at the workout park.
• Parking: Available at 2101 W. Sim Park Dr or the new Botanica parking lot just east of the start/finish line.
• Race Route: The route will take you along the bike path on the north side of the Arkansas River past Cowtown &: Keeper of the Plains to Exploration Place and return along the bike path south of the Arkansas River.

📅 Date and Time

• Date: Saturday, October 25th, 2025.
• Racer Arrival: 7:30 am.
• Race Start: 9:00 am.
• Costume Contest: 7:45 am to 8:45 am.

💰 Registration Cost

• Early Worm: $35 May 2nd through August 15th.
• Standard Registration: $40, August 16th to race day.

🎭 Costume Contest

• Dress Code: Come dressed up in your spookiest attire for our Halloween contest.
• Eligibility: The costume contest is open to individuals or couples only.
• Prize: The winning individual or couple will receive a $100 gift card.
• Judging: To participate, you must be at the judging area by 8:45 a.m. Winners will be announced after the race.

🎟️ Raffle and Prizes

• Raffle Prize: The TV People entertainment package, including a 55" LG Smart TV, a Bose Sound Bar, and a Hue Light system.
• Ticket Purchase: Tickets can be bought online or with cash on race day.
• Raffle Ticket Price: One for $5, or Five for $20.
• Enhancements: All Racers will receive an OctoberFit 5K race t-shirt, a participation medal, and a bag with goodies!

📦 Packet Pickup

• Dates: Packets will be picked up from Monday, October 20th, to Wednesday, October 22nd.
• Location: Planet Fitness Normandie location, 6592 E. Central Ave, Wichita, KS, 67206.
• Race Day Pickup: Packets will also be available for pick up the morning of the race.
