- Date: Saturday, September 19, 2026
- Location: Center Moriches, New York
- Course: A scenic 5K course through charming neighborhood streets and down to Moriches Bay.
- Start/Finish: Begins and ends at Victory Post #414 VFW on Main Street.
About the Event
- Purpose: Celebrating 250 years of American independence while honoring veterans and military families.
- Community: A chance to run, walk, or push a stroller among friends and family.
- Proceeds: All proceeds benefit Victory Post #414 and local veterans.
- Post-Race: Enjoy post-race refreshments, music, and camaraderie at the VFW.
Giveaways
- T-shirts: The first 100 participants registered will receive a 2026 Rifleman Run race T-shirt.
Awards
- Top Overall Awards: Top Overall Male and Top Overall Female.
- Stroller Division: Awards for Top Male and Top Female.
- Age Group Awards: Top 3 Male and Female in each age group (14 & Under, 15–19, 20–24, 25–29, 30–34, 35–39, 40-49, 50–59, 60–69, 70–79, 80 & Over).
- Awards Presentation: Awards will be presented after the race at the VFW.

- Bib Pickup: Begins at 8:30 AM at VFW Post #414.
- Race Start Time: 10:00 AM.
