Join us for the inaugural Rifleman Run 5k Run/Walk on Saturday, September 27th, 2025, in beautiful Center Moriches! This exciting event starts and finishes at VFW Post 414 on Main Street, providing a vibrant community atmosphere as you lace up your sneakers. The 5k course will take you on a scenic journey down to Moriches Bay, meandering through charming neighborhoods and culminating in a thrilling sprint down Main Street to the finish line. Not only will you enjoy a fun and festive race experience, but you'll also be supporting a great cause! Proceeds from the Rifleman Run will benefit Victory Post #414 and the local military and veteran community in need. After crossing the finish line, celebrate your achievement at the VFW's cash bar, which will be open and ready to serve refreshments. • Race T-Shirts: 2025 VFW Rifleman Run Race T-Shirts will be given out to the first 100 runners to sign-up.

🏆 Age Group 5k Awards

• Top Awards: Top Overall Male and Female.
• Age Group Awards: Top 3 Men and Women in each age group.
• Age Group Ranges: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 & Over.
• Award Presentation: Awards will be presented after the race at the VFW.
