Rise 'n Run 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Walk

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

Rise 'n Run is the latest addition to the Middlebury Fall Fest on Saturday, September 6! This is a fundraiser for the Middlebury Food Pantry, which provides groceries for hundreds of families using volunteer helpers!

⏰ Race Schedule

• 5K Start Time: 8:30 am - a timed event, perfect for serious runners and walkers!
• 1 Mile Walk Start Time: 8:00 am - not timed, suitable for anyone wanting some exercise, including kids or families.
• Location: 106 State Street, Middlebury
• Refreshments: Available after you return, while we wait for others to finish and hand out awards.

👕 Entry Details

• Inclusions: Entry fee includes a t-shirt, timed entry (5K only), course support, and Age Group awards 3 deep.
• Family Pricing: Special Youth (13 and under) and family pricing available (2 adults and two children) to keep the event affordable for all!
• Distance Choice: With the family pack, you could run the 5K or walk either distance.
• Packet Pickup: Let the registration staff know which distance you would like at packet pickup.

🚗 Parking Information

• Parking Location: Start and Finish at 103 State Street.
• Nearby Options: Head towards the Middlebury Library or nearby East Park.
• Street Parking: Plenty of street parking in adjoining neighborhoods if those areas are full.
• Guidance: Please follow volunteer directions and/or signage in the morning.

🏆 Awards and Celebrations

• Awards Presented: To the top 3 Male and Female Runners, and top 3 in 15 Age Groups.
• Results Posting: Times will be pushed to Runsignup as soon as possible.
• Post-Race Fun: After the awards, check out the offerings of the Middlebury Fall Festival.
• Festival Activities: Food booths, craft vendors, music, and more!

🐾 Additional Notes

• Dogs: Dogs are not allowed at the Middlebury Fall Festival.
• T-Shirt Order: The shirt order goes in on August 15: sizes are not guaranteed after that date.
• Size Availability: If you are able to select a size during registration, we still have shirts in your size available.
• Post-Race Size Switching: If there is nothing in your size, please check in after the race as there is often size switching going on!
