Rise 'n Run 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Walk

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

Rise 'n Run is the latest addition to the Middlebury Fall Fest on Saturday, September 6! This is a fundraiser for the Middlebury Food Pantry, which provides groceries for hundreds of families using volunteer helpers!

🕗 Race Details

• 5K Start Time: 8:30 am - A timed event, perfect for serious runners and walkers!
• Course: The out and back scenic course will showcase the bucolic Middlebury area, with minimal traffic.
• Finish Line Treat: Enjoy Rise 'n Roll donuts for everyone at the finish line!
• 1 Mile Walk: Starts first at 8:00 am and is not timed, making it perfect for families and kids.

👕 Entry Fee Includes

• T-shirt: All race participants receive a t-shirt.
• Course Support: Timed entry for the 5K only, with course support provided.
• Age Group Awards: Awards presented 3 deep in the 5K.
• Special Pricing: Youth (13 and under) and family pricing available for affordability.

📍 Location & Parking

• Start and Finish: 106 State Street, Middlebury.
• Parking: Available at 103 State Street, near Middlebury Library or East Park.
• Street Parking: Ample street parking in adjoining neighborhoods if main areas are full.
• Volunteer Directions: Please follow directions and signage on race day.

🥇 Awards & Refreshments

• Post-Race Refreshments: Available after returning, while waiting for awards.
• Awards Ceremony: Presented to the top 3 Male and Female Runners, and top 3 in 15 Age Groups in the 5K.
• Results: Times will be pushed to Runsignup as soon as possible.
• Festival Offerings: Enjoy food booths, craft vendors, music, and more after the awards.

🐶 Important Notes

• Dog Policy: Dogs are not allowed at the Middlebury Fall Festival.
• Shirt Order Deadline: The shirt order goes in on August 15: limited sizes available after that date.
• Size Availability: If able to select a size during registration, it means we have it available.
• Post-Race Size Switching: Check after the race for extra size options based on availability!
