Ugly Sweater 5K Run and Sweater Stroll 2025

🎉 Event Overview

The Elkhart Education Foundation is excited to host the annual Ugly Sweater 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Sweater Stroll Presented by NIBCO. This is a fun-filled event for every person: the serious runner, the recreational jogger, walkers, and our furry friends.

📸 Pre-Race Festivities

• Photo Booth: Take some fun pics before the race!
• Ugliest Sweater Contest: Wear your tackiest sweater and you may win (contest starts before the race).
• Finisher Awards: Prizes for all participants!
• Overall Awards: Top Overall Male/Female and Age Group winners in each of 15 age divisions!

🍫 Finish Line Treats

At the finish line, enjoy hot chocolate and holiday treats!

📅 Check-In Details

• Check-In and Packet Pickup: Begins on Friday, December 5 from 4:00 - 6:00 pm at Elkhart Health & Aquatics in the Community Meeting Rooms.
• Saturday Check-In: December 6 at NIBCO Water and Ice Park from 7:00 - 8:15 am.
• Encouragement: We encourage people to pickup the day before if at all possible to streamline the morning.

• Awards: Top three overall Male/Female in the 5K. 15 Age group awards three deep in each for Male/Female.
• Costume Awards: Get in on the fun and wear your silliest, funniest sweaters and holiday gear!
• Volunteer Opportunities: Not really a runner or walker but want to help? We need a lot of volunteers!
