Ugly Sweater 5K Run and Sweater Stroll 2025

🏃‍♂️Race Overview

The Elkhart Education Foundation is excited to host the annual Ugly Sweater 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Sweater Stroll Presented by NIBCO. This is a fun-filled event for every person: the serious runner, the recreational jogger, walkers, and our furry friends.

📸Pre-Race Activities

• Photo Booth: Prior to the race, take some fun pics at the photo booth!
• Ugliest Sweater Contest: Wear your tackiest sweater and you may win (contest starts before the race).
• Finisher Awards: Awards for all participants!
• Overall Winners: Prizes for the top Overall Male/Female as well as Age Group winners in each of 15 age divisions.

☕Finish Line Treats

At the finish line, enjoy hot chocolate and holiday treats!

🗓️Check-In and Packet Pickup

Check-in and packet pickup / Onsite Registration begins on Friday, December 5 from 4:00 - 6:00 pm at Elkhart Health & Aquatics in the Community Meeting Rooms and Saturday, December 6 at NIBCO Water and Ice Park from 7:00 - 8:15 am.

• Early Pickup: We encourage people to pickup the day before if possible to streamline the morning.

• Awards: Top three overall Male/Female in the 5K, plus 15 Age groups awards three deep in each for Male and Female.
• Costume Awards: Wear your silliest, funniest sweaters and holiday gear for a chance to win!
• Volunteer Opportunity: Not really a runner or walker but want to help? We need a lot of volunteers!
