is a community event to be shared with loved ones - family & friends. Thanksgiving is such a wonderful time to spend together - a time of gratitude for all we have!
A race on Thanksgiving? What? It’s a great way to get some fresh air, burn-it-forward do something for others at the same time. Every dime raised through your entry fees goes right to Faith Mission to help feed and house others! [Our sponsors cover the fixed operational costs]
Please, ask around your work associates, friends or neighbors- do they have something to do on Thanksgiving? Invite them to join in.
This is not intended to be an all morning event, just get some fresh air and you can get back to your day!
Pickup your race packet before race day - you have double the packet pickup options this year! - locations and dates:
Convenient locations in South Bend, Mishawaka, Goshen, and Elkhart - plan on picking up your packet before race day at a location near you.
Shirt order goes in on November 11. We will have a few extra 2024 shirts for sale on a first come, first serve basis for $15.
Join your community for Michiana's Thanksgiving Tradition - bring your dog, your friends, and your family to do something good for others. Fresh air and exercise help you earn your second slice of pie!
Go directly to your starting corral by 8:00am on race day. Corrals are based on the event you’re participating in - see below.
Sharing your giving thanks story in the ride over brings us closer together: friends and loved ones picking each other up and riding in together is the kind of community the Turkey Stampede presented by Adams Remco is all about.
Please note parking lots adjacent to your starting corral - plan on parking in one of these lots:
(interactive parking map - includes corrals, race routes, parking, mile markers, and start-finish line)
Program one of these parking lot addresses into your GPS for race day.
Go directly to your parking lot, and go directly to your corral.
Corrals are designated starting area for your race group. This helps avoid tripping hazards at the start line and on the course, and alleviates potential congestion within that first mile. It spreads out runners to make the start as safe and smooth as possible, and helps avoid confusion on race day.
For the best race day experience for everyone, please follow these instructions!
Where each corral area assembles:
Port-a-johns are available near each starting corral to make it more convenient for you to go directly to your corral and cut down on wait times.
Water and refreshments will be served at the finish line of the event.
Finisher medal - everyone receives a finisher medal - medals will be on display for pickup at the finish of the race.
Awards ceremony - there is no official awards ceremony: we know people want to leave and get back to their holiday asap. We do offer the coveted turkey awards for the top three overall men and women that finish the 5K and 10K. Come to the wagon up by the timing trailer by the start finish line
