🍏 Nappanee Apple Festival Donut Dash 5K

The Nappanee Apple Festival Donut Dash 5K will be held on September 20, 2025, at Nappanee Missionary Church, located at 70417 SR 19 North, Nappanee, IN 46550. The church is situated 2 miles north of downtown Nappanee and south of Wakarusa. The event will start and finish at Nappanee Missionary Church. Whether you are an experienced competitive runner or a beginner, everyone is welcome to participate! After your run or walk, be sure to explore the small-town shops and enjoy all that the Nappanee Apple Festival has to offer with your family and friends. Ample parking will be available for easy access and exit after the run.

📏 New Events This Year

• New 1 Mile Run: Suitable for ages 13 and up.
• 5K and 1 Mile Combo: A new option for participants to enjoy both distances.

⏰ Start Times

• 1 Mile Run: Starts at 8:00 AM.
• 5K Run/Walk: Starts at 8:30 AM.

🎽 Packet Pick Up

Will be held Friday night September 19 from 6-8 PM &: Saturday morning September 20 from 7 AM - 8:15 AM Nappanee Missionary Church, 70417 SR 19 North Nappanee, IN 46550. Participants will be able to pick up their shirts and race bibs.

👕 Shirts

After August 17 shirts are first come, first serve until we run out!! If you do not pick up your shirt at the event, unclaimed shirts will not be mailed out. Shirts will be given to runners that could not get a shirt or donated.

💲 Event Dates and Registration Fees

Registration opens for the 5K only from November 28, 2024, till April 27 for $15.00 part of the Maple Syrup &: Donut Dash 5K Bundle:

• April 27 - 30: $15.00 for 5K, $5.00 for 1 Mile Runs, $15.00 for 1 Mile &: 5K Run/Walk Combo.
• May 1 - 31: $18.00 for 5K, $6.00 for 1 Mile Runs, $20.00 for 1 Mile &: 5K Run/Walk Combo.
• September 14 - 20: $30.00 for 5K, $20.00 for 1 Mile Runs, $45.00 for 1 Mile &: 5K Run/Walk Combo.

Online registration ends on September 20, 2025, at 8:30 AM.

🍏 Refreshments

All participants will receive apple, donut and apple cider at the finish line.

🏆 Awards Information

• 1 Mile Awards: Top 3 boys and top 3 girls in age groups: 12 and under, and 13 and under.
• 5K Awards: Overall prizes for top three men and women finishers.
• Age Group Awards for the 5K: Top 3 male and female runners will receive a custom apple award in various age categories.
• Award Distribution: Awards will be presented shortly after the last participant crosses the finish line of the 5K.

🐶 Guidelines for Dogs Attending the Event

• Leash Requirement: All dogs must be kept on a NON-retractable leash and under supervision at all times.
• Cleaning up: Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs.
• Aggressive Behavior: Any dog displaying aggressive behavior must be removed from the event by its owner.
• Restrictions: Dogs are not allowed inside Nappanee Missionary Church.
