Event Overview
The Shawangunk Runners, with support from the Kiernan Farm/Bruynswick Winery in Gardiner, NY, is hosting its second annual 6k (3.8-mile) cross-country run for the benefit of the Ulster County SPCA animal shelter.
Purpose
- Charity Event: Benefit for the Ulster County SPCA animal shelter.
- Community Support: Animal shelters are in dire need as the number of animals under their care rises.
Event Highlights
- Location: Beautiful scenery at the foot of the Shawangunk Ridge.
- Meet and Greet: UCSPCA will be present with some of the shelter animals.
- Family Fun: Free dashes for the youngest children.
- Refreshments: Enjoy a glass of wine or beer while listening to music.
Awards and Registration
- Awards: Overall awards and awards for the top three in all standard 10-year age groups.
- Registration Fee: Day of registration is $35, begins at 9 am.
- Race Start: The race begins at 10 am.
- Children's Dashes: Free dashes at 9:45 am.
