Stumpy's 5k Run and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk

🎉 Event Overview

Start your 4th of July off with Stumpy's 5k!! This 5K out and back takes you through scenic downtown Shirland, IL, through the rolling hills of the countryside to say a quick hello to Stumpy, then back. Join us and make your own 4th of July tradition!

The 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk begins at the school and takes you through scenic downtown Shirland, IL and back.

The race begins and ends at Shirland Grade School located at 8020 North St, Shirland, IL 61079

💡 Purpose of the Event

• Proceeds: All proceeds of this event will be donated to Shirland Grade School to be used for technology updates!!
• Donation Option: If you would prefer to not run/walk and would like to make a donation, please click the donate button and your donation will be graciously accepted.

📝 Registration Details

• Deadline: REGISTER BY JUNE 20, 2025 TO BE GUARANTEED A TIMING CHIP & COLLECTOR'S EDITION T-SHIRT!
• Includes: Limited edition Stumpy T-shirt
• Finisher Medal: All registrants will receive a finisher medal.
• Race Bib: Chip timed 5k run/walk: Results Posted Online

⏰ Event Schedule

• Start Time: 7:00 AM for both 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
• Water Station: There will be a water station at the Stumpy turn around for 5K participants.

📍 Packet Pick-up

• Schedule: Packet pick-up will be held in front of Shirland Grade School on Thursday, July 3rd, 2024 from 4:00-6:00 PM.
• Same Day Pick-Up: Available starting at 6:15 AM in front of the school.
• Registration: There will be no same day registration this year.
• Closing Time: Registration closes on July 4 at 12:00 AM.
