AVFRD Harvest Blaze 5K Run

Event Overview

Join the Ashburn Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department (AVFRD) on Saturday, September 26, for the 7th Annual Harvest Blaze 5K and Kids' Spark Sprint (ages 4–10)!

Location

• Venue: Route 7 Brewing
• Address: 20051 Riverside Commons Plaza #148, Ashburn, VA 20147
• Celebration: Post-race celebration featuring food, drinks, live music, and more.

Race Schedule

• Kids' Spark Sprint: Begins at 9:00 a.m.
• Harvest Blaze 5K: Starts shortly afterward.

Registration Fees

• 5K Registration: $35 through July 3
• 5K Registration: $45 July 4 through September 3
• 5K Registration: $45 September 4 through Race Day (September 26) - no shirt available
• Fun Run (ages 4-10): $20 through Race Day (no beer ticket included)

Important Reminders

• Sign Up Early: Shirts will not be available for any registrations after September 3!

Packet Pickup

• Date: Friday, September 25, from 4:00–8:00 p.m.
• Date: Saturday, September 26, from 7:00–8:30 a.m.

Awards

Awards will be presented to the top three overall female and top three overall male finishers in the 5K.

Post-Race Benefits

Participants age 21 and older will receive a complimentary beer ticket for the post-race celebration at Route 7 Brewing. A valid photo ID must be presented at packet pickup to receive the ticket and again at the brewery to redeem it.

For more than 80 years, AVFRD has proudly served the community. The generous support of local residents, businesses, and civic organizations helps make that service possible. All race proceeds and donations directly benefit AVFRD's Ray Muth Scholarship Fund, which provides higher education scholarships for department members and their children.
