🦃 Get Basted Turkey Trot Overview

Gobble Gobble...It's Turkey Trot time & we'd love for you to run with us! This will be the "2nd helpings" of our Turkey Trots!

We are excited to bring back our Turkey Trot events for 2024! Guidelines will be the same as prior, please note the specific dates in order to qualify for a complimentary race entry!

If you haven't crossed under our finish line this year...that's OK too...You can still come out and join us...it's just $21($25 on Race Day), in-person or virtual.

🏃‍♂️ Event Details

• Date: 2025-11-23
• Location: 3845 Coal Mountain Dr., Cumming, GA
• Distances: 5K, 10K, 15K, or Half Marathon
• Virtual Entry: Available for $21 ($25 on Race Day)

💵 Entry Fee & Registration

• Free Entry: If you crossed under our Finish Line between Dec 2024 & November 13, 2025, you earned a FREE Turkey Trot entry!
• Registration: Participants qualify for Overall/Age Group awards! Please register for only (1) Turkey Trot event.
• Race Start: All races start at 8:00 AM.
• Swag: Shirts & Finisher Medals available for purchase.

🏅 Awards & Goodies

• Finisher Medals: Available for $7.50!
• Overall Awards: Top 3 finishers M/F in each race category.
• Age Group Awards: Top 3 in each of the normal 5 year age groups (10 & under - 75+).
• Swag Options: Long sleeve shirt for $22, Hoodies for $27.

🏞️ Course Information

• Course Type: Fairly flat 5K loop (nothing is completely flat in North Georgia).
• Water Stations: Approximately every 1.5 miles.
• Pacing: Finish with at least a 16 min/mile pace.

📦 Bib Mailing & Packet Pickup

• Bib Mail Out: For $7.00, you can have your bib mailed straight to your door starting November 1st.
• Race Day Pickup: Check in opens at 6:30 AM on race morning.
• Arrival: Please arrive closer to 6:30 AM to get to the Start line on time.

🔗 Virtual Running - How It Works

• Participation: Run when & where you want, submit your time by end of Race Day.
• Time Submission: Submit your results on RunSignUp Event Page.
• Virtual Packages: Ship out the Monday after event date (continental US only).
• Social Sharing: Use the hashtag #getbastedturkeytrot #fivestarturkeytrot.

👥 Groups & Teams

Grab your buddies, co-workers, family, or random strangers, and put a team together. Running in costume is more F-U-N, especially with Family & Friends!!~

📋 Event Courtesy & Refund Policy

• Conduct: Unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated.
• Refunds: All registrations are final, with no refunds or transfers.
• Weather Policy: Events take place rain or shine: no refunds for weather-related cancellations.
• COVID-19 Policy: No refunds due to COVID-19: events will go 100% Virtual if needed.
