Thanksgiving Day Gobble Wobble 5K & Fun Run

Join us for our 10th Annual Gobble Wobble event on Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, November 27, 2025)!

5K participants will receive a crewneck sweatshirt and custom finisher medal. Kids Fun Run participants will receive a crewneck sweatshirt and a fun run medal (guaranteed if registered by November 21, 2025).

Race Location and Parking

Location: Halcyon
Address: 6365 Halcyon Way, Alpharetta, GA 30005

The starting line is at the surface parking lot behind Cherry Street Brewpub.

• Parking: Free parking is available in various locations including the parking garage at Halcyon and adjacent lots.
• Carpool: Participants are advised to carpool to this event.
• No Parking: Please don’t park at locations open for business on Thanksgiving Day or in residential areas.
• Delays: Expect delays after finishing your race and navigating your way out of the parking garage.

5K Walk/Run: 8:00 AM

Kids Fun Run (10 & Under): 9:15 AM

Note: 5K runners will be assigned to a Corral based on estimated finish time submitted during registration. Official race time starts when you cross the starting line.

• Cutoff: Cutoff for finisher medal and race shirt is November 21, 2025!
• Shirt Size: If your desired shirt size is unavailable, please select an alternative during registration.
• Early Registration: Register early to take advantage of discounts.
• Guarantee: Participants are guaranteed to receive a crewneck sweatshirt and finisher medal if registered by November 21 at 11:59 PM.

Restrooms

• Facilities: Full-service restrooms are located inside The Market Hall.
• Portable Toilets: Available near the Big Creek Greenway Halcyon Trailhead facility.
• Advice: For shorter wait times, use facilities at Big Creek Greenway Halcyon Trailhead.

Awards

• Overall male/female
• Overall masters male/female
• 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place age group awards in 5-year increments for the 5K

Important: Awards will not be presented on race day. They will be available for pick-up at Big Peach Running Co. - Cumming starting November 28th.

Additional Information

Events will be held Rain or Shine.

Race officials may cancel, delay, or change the event if considered unsafe for the public.
