Upstate Strut for Childhood Cancer Race

Event Overview

We are excited to welcome the community back for the 2026 Upstate Strut for Childhood Cancer on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at Milliken Arboretum! Serious runners, casual joggers, and walkers alike will come together for a great day supporting an even greater cause as we run, walk, and rally in support of local children battling cancer and the families who stand beside them.

Last year, the Upstate Strut for Childhood Cancer raised more than $65,000 to benefit Upstate children through Children’s Cancer Partners of the Carolinas. This cross-country fun run and 5K race helps children fighting the toughest battles of their lives by providing critical support to families throughout treatment. Let’s show up, move our bodies, and rally together in support of these strong and brave children!

Race Shirts

Super cool race shirts are included with registration. Sign up by August 28th to guarantee your shirt size. Limited availability after that. Click here to see this year's t-shirt design!

Team Participation

Gather your friends, family, co-workers, and neighbors to join you to Strut as a team! Fun team names and matching outfits? Absolutely. Making a meaningful impact on the lives of local children facing pediatric cancer? Even better.

Trophies for Most Spirited Team, Largest Team, and Top Fundraising Team will be awarded after the race!

How to Create/Join a Team

• Navigate: Navigate to the Race Page
• Sign Up: Select "Sign Up" to begin the registration process
• Participant Info: Enter in all participant information
• Team Selection:
  • Joining: If joining you can search for the team name
  • Create Team: If the team has not been created you can select "Create Team"
  • Team Name: From there you can type in team name and optional password
  • Registration Steps: Follow additional registration steps to complete registration
  • Confirmation: Participants will receive a confirmation email of registration and team

• Top Finishers: Top 3 Male and Female Overall
• Age Group Awards: Top Male & Female Age Group (0-16, 17-34, 35-54, 55-69, 70+)

Packet Pickup Party

Meet us at Rockers on Tuesday, September 22, from 3:30—6:30 p.m. to pick-up your race packets and receive 1/2 off a pint of beer!
