Book It for the Olive Free Library 5K Run/Walk

🎉 Welcome to the Book It for the Olive Free Library!

📅 Race Details

• Date: September 13, 2025
• Start Time: 9:00 am
• Location: Brown's Station Fountain (a.k.a the Aerators), Olivebridge, NY
• Registration: Day-of registration begins at 8 am for $35: pre-registration is recommended.

🏞️ Course Information

• Scenic Route: Enjoy the beautiful views at the Ashokan Reservoir Promenade.
• Terrain: Mostly flat with one uphill at the start: much of the route is closed to traffic.
• Water Station: A water stop will be available along the course.
• Complimentary Refreshments: Post-race snacks provided courtesy of the Olive Free Library.

🎭 Costume Contest

• Dress Up: Wear costumes as your favorite character from any book, movie, TV show, comic book, screenplay, or fairy tale.
• Awards: Overall awards and awards for the top three in all standard 10-year age groups.
• Best Costume: A special award for the best costume will be presented.

🅿️ Parking Information

• Location: Parking will be at Brown's Station, also known as the Aerators.
• Carpooling: Spaces are limited, so please be sure to carpool.

👕 Registration Benefits

• T-shirt: Participants who register before August 23rd will receive a T-shirt.
• No Refunds: Due to the fundraising nature of this event, no refunds will be granted.
