🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

• Event Name: Book It for the Olive Free Library!
• Date: Saturday, September 13, 2025
• Start Time: 9:00 am
• Location: Brown's Station Fountain a.k.a the Aerators, Olivebridge, NY

🌄 Course Details

• Scenic Route: Join us for a 5K walk/run to benefit our wonderful library nestled in the Catskill mountains.
• Course Location: Our run will take place at the gorgeous Ashokan Reservoir Promenade with the most beautiful views around.
• Terrain: It's mostly flat, with one uphill at the start of the course, and much of the route is closed to traffic.
• Water Stops: We will have a water stop along the course.

🎭 Costume Fun

• Costume Theme: Wear costumes! Dress up as your favorite character from any book, movie, TV show, comic book, screen play or fairy tale! Or come as yourself!
• Awards: There are overall awards, and awards for the top three in all standard 10-year age groups.
• Best Costume: Plus, there will be an award for the best costume!
• Family Friendly: Families and kiddos are welcome! Kids under 10 are free, but will not receive a shirt.

📝 Registration Information

• Day-of Registration: If you would like to register the day of the event, registration will begin at 8 am, and will be $35.
• Pre-registration: Pre-registration is recommended.
• T-shirt Offer: Participants who register before August 27th will receive a T-shirt.
• Refund Policy: Due to the fundraising nature of this event no refunds will be granted.

🚗 Parking Information

• Location: Parking will be at Brown's Station, also known as the Aerators.
• Space Availability: Spaces are limited, so please be sure to carpool.

🥤 Post-Race Refreshments

• Complimentary Snacks: Complimentary refreshments and post-race snacks provided courtesy of the Olive Free Library.
