Furbutt's 24-hour Backyard Ultra

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Furbutt's 24-hour Backyard Ultra is modeled off of the Capital Backyard Ultra. The backyard format is based on Lazarus Lake’s Backyard runs.

• Duration: Runners have one hour to complete the 4.167-mile course.
• Rules: Runners must be in the corral at the top of the next hour ready to start the next loop, or they’re out.

In addition to being a challenging run, Furbutt's 24-hour Backyard is also a great way to experience the backyard format.

• Opportunities: This is an excellent opportunity to run your first marathon, 50K, 50-mile, or 100-mile run.
• Benefits: The backyard format forces you to rest early and often, which can help you run a longer distance than you thought possible.
• Networking: It is also a great way to meet other runners and build community since you’ll be sharing the same loop each hour.
• Aid Station: You will be in close proximity at the one and only aid station.
