👮‍♂️ Officer Jeremy Labonte

• Biography: Roswell Police Officer Jeremy Labonte was shot and killed in the line of duty on February 7th, 2025 while responding to a suspicious person reported at a shopping center. Officer Labonte arrived at the shopping center and quickly located the suspect. While the officer approached the subject for questioning, the man produced a handgun and fired at Officer Labonte multiple times. Officer Labonte was taken to a local hospital where he tragically succumbed to his wounds.
• Service: Officer Labonte had served with the Roswell Police Department for over three years. He is survived by his wife, parents, two sisters, nephews, and grandparents.

🏅 What is a Tunnel To Towers Run & Walk?

• Purpose: The Tunnel to Towers Run & Walk Series was created to honor the sacrifices made every day by first responders, veterans, and their families and to remember the heroic life and death of Stephen Siller, a New York City firefighter (FDNY) who lost his life on September 11, 2001 after strapping on his gear and running through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers.
• Support: The Foundation works to honor all of those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001 and support our first responders and military who make extraordinary sacrifices in the line of duty every day! For more information on the Tunnel to Towers Foundation please visit www.T2T.org.
• Event Focus: This will be the first year of the event in Roswell, and it will focus on honoring the life and sacrifice of Roswell Police Officer Jeremy Labonte.

🏃‍♀️ How far is a Tunnel to Towers Run & Walk?

• Distance: This is a 5K (3.1 miles) to walk or run this event. Anyone can run, walk, or experience this event.
• Course Information: Please see “Course Map” under event info on the homepage for more information.

👕 Will there be participant shirts?

• T-shirts: Yes, all participants and volunteers will receive a T-shirt.
• Registration Deadline: Please register or notify us of your intent to volunteer by August 3rd, 2025.

🅿️ Is there parking available?

• Location: Yes. There is limited parking at Riverfront Park.
• Additional Parking: If the event needs more parking, we will work to secure parking at other locations.

📦 Where can I pick up my packet?

• Details: Details will be coming on packet pick up!

👤 Can someone else pick up my packet for me?

• Proxy Pickup: Yes, they can.

🕕 Can I register the day of the run?

• Registration Time: Yes. Registration will open at 6:30 am the morning of the run.
• Shirt Availability: If you wait we may not have a shirt for you and we do not guarantee sizes for late registrants.

⏳ When does online registration close?

• Online Registration: Online registration will remain open, and registration on race day is allowed.
• Price Increase: There will be a price increase for late registrations.

📋 Do I have to wear my bib number?

• Display Requirement: Yes, please display your bib on the front of your outermost garment.
• Course Policy: Those who run without a bib will be asked to leave the course and will not be allowed to finish.

⚡ I am a fast runner. Can I get a front line position?

• Corral: Runners predicting a pace faster than 6 minute/mile will be seeded in the front corral (arrive early).

🏆 Will there be awards for running?

• Awards: Yes. Awards will be given to the top 3 first responders running in gear, then the top 3 men and women, youth, and teens.

💧 Will water be available?

• Water Stations: Yes, a water station will be available along the route.
• Start/Finish Line: There will be water available at the start/finish line.

🛒 What can you bring to the event?

• Permitted Items: Strollers and wheelchairs are permitted. Firefighter turnout gear and military backpacks are also permitted.
• Personal Items: Please leave all personal items and valuables in your vehicle.
• Responsibility: All items should be stored securely at the owner's risk. Tunnel to Towers Foundation will not be responsible for the loss of any items.
