Won’t you be my Nabor? Lace up your running or walking shoes and come out to the Love Your Nabors 5K! If there is anyone who can motivate others to get out and get moving it’s our Coach HANNAH NABORS!

Hannah has devoted countless hours to loving, supporting, and encouraging others as a teacher, coach, coworker, and friend. Now it is time for our community to come out and support her! After a tragic automobile accident and the loss of her lower leg in February, Hannah has been battling her way back! This race will raise funds to assist in that battle.

Three events... for one great person -- We have a 5K Run, a 5K Walk, and a 1 mile Run/Walk all starting and finishing at the AdventHealth Stadium.

• 6:30 am: Race Day Registration Opens
• 7:45 am: Race Day Registration Closes
• 7:55 am: Pre-Race Announcements
• 8:00 am: 5K Run / 5K Walk / 1 Mile Start Time
• 9:15 am: Race Awards Presentation

👦 Youth Registration

• Pre-Registration: 'Youth Rate' for ALL EVENTS is $20.
• Day-of-Race: 'Youth Rate' is $30.

🏁 Course Information

5K RUN Route:

This USATF-Certified 5K Course begins and ends at Advent-Health Stadium's main parking lot. It is scenic, very fast, and a PEACHTREE ROAD RACE QUALIFIER! This out-and-back course goes out northwest to the Armuchee Connector, crosses the bridge briefly before joining the newly-developed ECO Trail System's walking/running path along the Oostanaula River.

5K WALK Route:

The 5K Walk route is different than the 5K Run. The Walk also begins and ends at Advent-Health Stadium's main parking lot, but it heads out southwest toward Hwy 1/Veteran's Memorial Parkway and down to the Oostanaula River before turning left to go under Hwy. 1 towards Ridge Ferry Park.

1 MILE Run or Walk Route:

The 1 Mile route is the same as the 5K WALK, only shorter.

🚗 Parking & Packet Pick-up

There is plenty of FREE parking available at the AdventHealth Stadium parking lots.

Pre-Race Packet Pick-up: will be held Friday, August 8th at GoGo Running (1018 Martha Berry Blvd NE, Rome, GA 30165).

5K RUN Awards:

• Top 3 Overall Male and Top 3 Overall Female Winners
• Top Masters Male and Top Masters Female Winners
• Top 3 Male & Female in age categories: 10-Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & Over

NOTE: There are no awards presented for the 5K WALK.

1 Mile RUN/WALK Awards:

• Top 3 Overall BOYS (Ages 10 & Under) and Top 3 GIRLS (Ages 10 & Under)

📊 Results

The race will be professionally-timed by Wire2Wire Running, LLC. W2W uses R.F.I.D. technology and MyLaps equipment... the same used in the Peachtree R.R., the Boston Marathon, the Tour de France, and the London Marathon.
