• Event: 10th annual Carnival Frolic 13.1-mile race and 5K
• Course: USATF certified, featuring historic districts, the Tennessee River, and Point Mallard Park

• Shorter Distance: Half marathon relay option available
• Team Size: Up to 4 relay members per team
• Inclusive: Great way to join with friends for a fun experience
• Distance: Run the same Frolic course

🎉 5K Run Details

• Start Time: 7:15 am
• Participant Perks: Race shirt, carnival swag, and a Finisher surprise
• Finish Line Treats: Mardi Gras donuts, Gatorade, and Pepsi products
• Course: Out and back on the same Frolic course

🥇 Awards and Celebrations

• Individual Participants: Receive a race shirt, carnival swag, and a Finishers Medal
• Relay Teams: Team race shirts and Finisher Medals awarded

📝 Registration Information

• Online Registration: Open through February 12, 2026, with fee increases closer to race day
• Late Registration: Available at Carnegie Visual Arts Center until February 13th and on race day
• Shirt Availability: Cannot guarantee shirts and sizes for late registrants
• Packet Pick-Up: February 13th and pre-race February 14th at Carnegie Visual Arts Center

⏰ Finishing Time Cut-Off

• Time Limit: 3:30 hours for the Half Marathon
• Request: As per Decatur Police Department and RCR TIMING
• Advisement: Participants should be aware of the cut-off time
