Durango Nordic Summer Biathlon Running Race

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Durango Nordic is hosting a biathlon running race on Saturday, August 2nd, at Santa Rita Park in Durango for youth and adults.

🎯 Instructional Clinic

• Clinic Details: Prior to the race, we will have a clinic with instruction on how to use the laser rifles.
• Equipment Provided: Laser rifles will be provided by US Biathlon.
• Equipment Restrictions: ONLY LASER RIFLES WILL BE ALLOWED AT THE EVENT.
• Prohibition: Please do not bring any other biathlon rifles.

🏁 Race Format

Athletes will run one lap, shoot, run another lap, shoot, and finish with a running lap. Missed shots result in a penalty lap (which is shorter than the regular lap).
