The Mammoth ICE AGE returns in 2026! Join us for a Winter 5K City Run thru the heart of the BEST Historic Small Town in America - Granbury, Texas! We are kicking off the WINTER-GUEST TOURISM SEASON alongside Visit Granbury with their much anticipated annual Winter Event - THE GOOSEBUMP JUMP!

Just hop on over across the street to CITY BEACH PARK after your run and continue the Winter-Guest Celebration in the CELEBRATION CAPITAL OF TEXAS!

🌊 Community Challenge

Visit Granbury – The City of Granbury Convention &: Visitors Bureau (CVB), is challenging the community, civic organizations, charitable organizations, and brave individuals to help kick off the Winter-Guest Tourism Season by jumping into the frigid waters of Lake Granbury Saturday, January 17th at City Beach Park.

🏅 Event Details

• Event Type: The Mammoth ICE AGE 5K City Run IS a Chip Timed Event.
• Awards: FIRST PLACE ONLY. Male and Female for each age category:
• Categories: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+
• Course: The Mammoth ICE AGE 5K City Run is an OUT and BACK course that will begin and end at Hewlett Park, utilizing the PAVED Hike and Bike Trail system.
