Uwharrie Brewing Firehouse 5K & 1 Mile Run/Walk

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

Join us on Saturday October 4th, 2025 at 9:00 am for the first running of the Uwharrie Brewing Firehouse Walk/Run 5K and 1 Miler. All participants who sign up by September 22nd will receive a Race T-Shirt. All participants over 21 will receive a complimentary Uwharrie Beer at the end of the race, participants under 21 or who prefer a non-alcoholic beverage will have a choice of soft drinks.

🔥 Firehouse Celebration

This race will be celebrating the old Firehouse, the Firehouse red ale beer, Albemarle Fire Department and Fire Prevention Week (October 5th to October 11th).

• Theme: The official theme for Fire Prevention Week 2025, which runs from October 5-11, is "Charge into Fire Safety: Lithium-Ion Batteries in Your Home".

📅 Packet Pickup

• Date: Packet Pickup will be on Oct 3rd at Uwharrie Brewing from 3:00 pm to 6 pm.
• Day of Race: There will also be a packet pick up the day of the race.

👶 Participation Details

• Welcome: Runners, Walkers, and Strollers are welcome.
• Activities: We will have Games, Face Painting, coloring books and Fire Safety Demonstrations by the Albemarle Fire Department after the run, so plan to stick around afterwards.
• Inclusivity: This is a race for every pace...

• Timing: The 5k Run will be a timed event.
• Awards: Awards for Top 3 Male and Female Finishers along with Age Group Awards.
• Location: Start and finish will be at Uwharrie Brewing.
• Special Offer: First 50 people registered will receive a FREE pair of themed Socks.
