Event Overview
Join us on Saturday October 3rd, 2026 at 9:00 am for the 2nd running of the Uwharrie Brewing Firehouse Walk/Run 5K and 1 Miler.
- Date: October 3rd, 2026
- Location: 121 N. 3rd Street, Albemarle, NC
- Registration Cut-off: Sign up by October 1st to receive a Race T-Shirt.
- Age Restrictions: Participants over 21 will receive a complimentary Uwharrie Beer: those under 21 or preferring non-alcoholic beverages can choose soft drinks, Coffee, Tea or Lemonade.
Race Highlights
This race will be celebrating the old Firehouse, the Firehouse red ale beer, Albemarle Fire Department, and Fire Prevention Week (October 4th to October 10th).
- Packet Pickup: Oct 2nd at Uwharrie Brewing from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm
- Day of Pickup: Available on race day.
- All Welcome: Runners, Walkers, and Strollers.
- Activities: Games, Face Painting, FREE Ice cream, and Fire Safety Demonstrations by the Albemarle Fire Department after the run.
Uwharrie Brewing Running Club 5k Walk/Run
The 5k Run will be a timed event.
- Awards: Custom Engraved Mugs for the Top 3 Male and Female Finishers.
- Medals: Custom Designed medals for Age Group winners (14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, Over 70).

- Charity Contribution: Proceeds benefit the Uwharrie Brewing Running Club.
H4G - 1 Mile Run/Walk Presented by Chris Watson
1-Mile Run/Walk is a Non Timed Event.
- Awards: Prizes awarded to Top Finishers.
