Uwharrie Brewing Firehouse 5K & 1 Mile Run/Walk

🎉 Race Overview

Join us on Saturday, October 4th, 2025, at 9:00 am for the first running of the Uwharrie Brewing Firehouse Walk/Run 5K and 1 Miler.

• Registration Deadline: All participants who sign up by September 22nd will receive a Race T-Shirt.
• Complimentary Beverages: All participants over 21 will receive a complimentary Uwharrie Beer at the end of the race: participants under 21 or who prefer a non-alcoholic beverage will have a choice of soft drinks, Coffee, Tea, or Lemonade.
• Celebration: This race will celebrate the old Firehouse, the Firehouse red ale beer, Albemarle Fire Department, and Fire Prevention Week (October 5th to October 11th).
• Theme: The official theme for Fire Prevention Week 2025 is "Charge into Fire Safety: Lithium-Ion Batteries in Your Home."

📅 Packet Pickup Information

Packet Pickup will be on Oct 3rd at Uwharrie Brewing from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. There will also be a packet pickup the day of the race.

👟 Participation Details

• Welcome: Runners, Walkers, and Strollers are welcome.
• Activities: We will have Games, Face Painting, coloring books, FREE Jeremiah's Italian Ice, and Fire Safety Demonstrations by the Albemarle Fire Department after the run.

• Medals: Age Group winners will receive a Custom Designed medal. Age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, Over 70.
