Cruisin’ for Cancer 5K & Car Show

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Join us for a benefit 5K Run/Walk at John Hardin High School, 384 W A Jenkins Road, Elizabethtown, Kentucky on August 2, 2025 beginning at 7:30am. The Kids Dash will begin at 7:15am.

💖 Support a Cause

• Purpose: Bring yourself, your family, or your 5K team to support Jimmy Hardesty diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic lung cancer that has spread to the brain, spine T12 vertebrae, and lymph nodes.
• Impact: All proceeds and donations support Jimmy and his family, including Brandy, Lexi, and Luke.

🎉 Event Activities

Afterwards, join us from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for a fun-packed day, including a car show, music, food trucks, raffles, face painting, and balloon artist!

🏅 Awards

We will have awards for the Top 3 Male and Top 3 Female Overall finishers.

📝 Registration Details

• Cost: Registration is $30 for adults and includes a special race t-shirt if registered by the t-shirt deadline, Friday, July 18, 2025.
• Note: Shirts are not guaranteed after July 18th due to printing deadlines.

👶 Kids Dash

Join us at 7:15am for the FREE Kids Dash for children 12 and under.

📅 Race Day Information

Packet pickup on race morning will begin at 6:30 am. The 5K Race begins at 7:30 am.
