Created to honor: The heroic life and death of Stephen Siller, a New York City firefighter (FDNY) who lost his life on September 11, 2001.
Purpose: We honor those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001 and support our first responders and military who make extraordinary sacrifices in the line of duty!

Community Event: This will be our 3rd year in Trinity/Pasco and we are excited to bring together the community to honor first responders and military, to remember 9/11, and to raise funds for the Tunnel to Towers Foundation's programs.
🏃♀️ How far is a Tunnel to Towers Run & Walk?
Distance: This is a 5K (3.1 miles) to walk or run this event.
Open to all: Anyone of any age can run, walk, or experience this event.
📦 Where can I pick up my packet?
Pre-race packet pickup: Will be held on Friday, October 27, 2023 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm at runFIT, located at 18841 SR-54 W, Lutz, FL 33558.
Race-day packet pickup: At the race site starts at 7:00 am.
📝 Can I register the day of the run?
Yes: Registration will open until 8:30am the morning of the run.
Size not guaranteed: Those who wait to register on the day of the race are not guaranteed their t-shirt size. Register early!
📅 When does online registration close?
Deadline: Online registration will remain open up until race morning at 8:30am.
🚗 Is there parking available?
Yes: Parking will be available.
🏷️ Do I have to wear my bib number?
Yes: Please display your bib on the front of your outermost garment.
Course rules: Those who run without a bib will be asked to leave the course and will not be allowed to finish.
🏅 Will there be awards for running?
Finisher medals: Yes, finisher medals will be given to all participants.
Chip timed: The event will be chip timed.
Patriotic experience: Most of our awards are based on firefighters, police or military running in gear in the same fashion that Stephen Siller did on 9/11.
💧 Will water be available?
Water station: Yes, a water station will be available along the route.
Start/Finish: There will be water available at the start/finish.
🛒 What can you bring to the event?
Permitted items: Strollers and wheelchairs are permitted. Firefighter turnout gear and military backpacks are also permitted and encouraged.
Not permitted: Roller blades and bicycles are not permitted on the course.
Safety: Please leave all personal items and valuables in your vehicle at your own risk.
🐶 Can I bring my dog to the event?
Yes: Friendly dogs are allowed to participate with you in the race.
Note: Dogs are not allowed to participate in any other Tampa Bay Area Tunnel to Towers race.
💰 Does my registration fee count towards my fundraising goal?
No: Your registration fee does not count toward the fundraising goal.
🤝 Can someone else pick up my packet for me?
Yes: They must present a copy of your registration receipt.
💸 Can I still donate to a team and/or individual after the start of the race?
Yes: Donations will be accepted for 6 weeks after the event.
