Inua 5k Run and Walk

Join us February 28, 2026 in Blue Jacket Park for our 10th annual Inua 5k to support Inua Partners in Hope.

📅 About Race

• Support: We are looking forward to having your support and participation in the 10th annual Inua 5k to raise money for Inua Partners in Hope.
• Format: Join us IN-PERSON or VIRTUALLY this year!
• Celebration: Plan to stick around after the race to enjoy music, food, fellowship, and awards to support Inua Partners in Hope.
• Impact: Over the past nine years, this event has raised more than $250,000 to support Inua Partners in Hope, a program designed to break the cycle of poverty in Kenya.

🗓️ Race Schedule

• Date: Saturday, February 28, 2026
• 5k Start: 7:30am
• Awards: 8:30am
• Kids' Run: FREE at 9:00am

📍 Location, Directions, and Parking

• Start/Finish Area: Located near the intersection of Meeting Place and Lower Park Road in Baldwin Park.
• GPS Address: 4460 Lower Park Road, Orlando, FL 32814.
• Parking: Available along Upper Park Road and Lower Park Road and in the public parking lot off General Rees Avenue.

🏞️ Course

• Route: The course is a loop that begins and ends in Lower Blue Jacket Park.
• Details: Runners will follow the sidewalk within Blue Jacket Park, then cross Lakemont to wind around beautiful Lake Baldwin’s paved trail.
• Restrictions: Bicycles, roller skates, in-line skates, and dogs will be prohibited from the race course.
• Headphones: The use of headphones is discouraged.

💵 Pricing

• Early Bird: Now thru September 30, 2025: $40
• Regular Registration: October 1, 2025 thru February 27, 2026: $45
• Race Day: February 28, 2026: $50 (Sorry, no coupons or discounts on race day.)
• Virtual 5k: $30

Kids’ Run: Free (must register)

Walk-up registration will be available at packet pick-up & on race day!

Shirt Sizes are NOT guaranteed for race day registration and race day packet pickup.

🎫 Packet Pick-Up

Packet pick-up will be located at our Reeves Center: 1506 Lake Highland Drive, Building 200: Orlando, FL 32803

• Dates: Thursday, February 26 AND Friday, February 27
• Time: 3pm - 6pm
• Proxy Pickup: You may have another runner pick up your packet for you.

Race Day Packet Pickup at Start Line Begins at 6:00am

🍼 Strollers

We are happy to have you join us with your jogging strollers, but please be courteous to other participants and start BEHIND all runners.

🚶‍♀️ Walker Friendly

Walkers are welcome and encouraged to participate in the Inua 5k! Please allow runners to line up in front of walkers.

📊 Results

Results will be available at the race. Runners and walkers who wear the designated chip are included in the race results.

🏆 Awards

• Overall Awards: Top three overall males and top three overall females will receive awards.
• Age Group Awards: Awards will also be given to the top three males and females in each age group.
• Kids’ Run: Kids’ Run participants will each receive a medal.

👕 T-Shirts and Medals

All participants will receive a t-shirt and finisher's medal with the 5k and virtual 5k options.

Kids running the FREE kids' run will receive a kids' run medal and can purchase a shirt for $10 at registration or on race day (while they last).

👶 Kids' Run

Children will be divided into age groups and distances will range from 100 yards to 1/2 mile. A medal is given to all finishers.

The Kids' Run is FREE and T-shirts are available for purchase at registration and on race day - $10/each, while supplies last.

🌎 Virtual 5k

Won't be in town for the race, but still want to support our cause? Register as a virtual runner and run your own 5k anywhere in the world. T-shirts and medals are available for virtual runners.

Cost for shipping is $7.50 for up to 4 race packets to one address.

The race is more fun with a crowd! Recruit your family, grab a group of friends, or assemble your co-workers and form a team!

Teams of 5 members or more will receive a $5/per runner discount on entry fee for the in-person 5k.
