New and exciting race benefiting WaterStep coming to Lynn Family Stadium on April 19th, 2026.
The WaterStep Teen Board is a group of highly motivated high school students dedicated to supporting WaterStep’s mission of providing safe water solutions to communities in need around the world. Through leadership, service, and advocacy, Teen Board members engage in fundraising events, community outreach, and educational activities to raise awareness about the global water crisis. The board also offers students an opportunity to develop leadership skills, collaborate with peers, and make a meaningful impact both locally and globally.
As part of WaterStep’s global campaign, The Beautiful Game vs. The Greatest Crisis, the WaterStep Teen Board is proud to present the inaugural Steps for Safe Water 5K. This event aims to raise awareness and funds to combat the global safe water crisis. The 5K invites participants to run or walk a distance of 5 kilometers, symbolizing the average daily journey many people in the Global South make to collect water. By organizing this event, the Teen Board joins WaterStep’s larger initiative to harness the passion and global reach of the soccer community – including clubs, players, fans, and sponsors – in the fight to bring safe water to those in need. Every step taken in this race is a step toward life-saving solutions. We invite you to join us through this fundraising event. Together, we can change the whole world.
